Re: Kick off with a glass or two of claret!
P.s I obviously meant 'Coyle' not 'could' in my earlier post. Damn auto correct

Re: Kick off with a glass or two of claret!
Growing up I was spoiled enough to have Big Sam as the true figure head of the club and everyone really bought into his vision. Whilst I still believe Coyle had the best intentions I really hope Freedman is the next long standing Bolton manager. Honest, focused and clear in his vision, can only rub ...

Re: Kick off with a glass or two of claret!
More importantly anyone know the extent of Eagles injury Watched the highlights when got in from the match and think Dougie said he just rolled his ankle. Said it was a sore one but that Eagles was already bemoaning being taken off in the first place  Got to say i'd feared the worst when he w...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Probably in line with the thread title but West Brom are on the verge of signing another centre back, albeit a 32 year old one. Long shot but anyone reckon Dawson could be loaned out again?

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Mears and Sordell out. Moritz in Spearing will sign. Plus a defender on loan. I doubt any more forwards also. Plus one cheeky last minute wildcard loan. Eat you heart out Nixon. Haha optimistic but I tend to agree! Another centre back would be a nice addition but I guess that depends on one of Mill...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Get the feeling Dougie feels our current crop of strikers are good enough to fire us up PROVIDING they get the right service.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Further update. Iles has just tweeted that the Daily Fail have it on good authority that Mears is off on loan too. Not sure I'm happy with this one if true, we're awfully light on full backs... I also remember reading somewhere earlier today (either Iles' or Nixon's feed probably) that we're still ...

Re: First Match of the New Season
I think we'll start 4-2-3-1 with Ngog upfront and Moritz just behind. Eagles on the right and Hall on the left if Chung Yong is not quite match fit. Medo/Andrews sitting deep and the back 5 which seems to be general consensus on this thread. ...Beckford for Moritz when we're 2 down :| *reverse psych...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
If Sordell isn't settled then he will never perform for us in reality. Better to send him where he wants to be, hope he scores a shed load, and hopefully get our money back on him. I think this means another forward is on the cards. A certain Jordon Rhodes would be nice if Eddie is feeling flush. T...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Dougie seems the sensible sort so i'm not too worried about this deal. Lets remember Sordell was a last minute buy, on premiership wages so if we can't promise him the full 90 minutes week in, week out then maybe the move is for the best. Would have been a tad gutted to see him sold as the lad has p...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
I must have seen Odelusi a handful of times now but I know literally nothing about him or how he plays! People (see Dougie) seem to rate him though.

Re: first 625 tickets for burnley are £12.50
Anyone have an idea how far do the seats go? Row EE for me but want to be as far away from the back as possible (within reason ofc). Remember some people taking a wizz at the back of the stands last year which wasn't too pleasant..

Re: Fans' forum this coming monday
Cheers for that BWFCi, Seems that Zat Knights hearts in the wrong place even if his head isn't... Just hope this doesn't make him a concrete starter if, and maybe when he goes off on one. 80% of the time I think he's alright for the club but it isn't an ideal situation. Happy enough to let his contr...

Re: Stu Holden was fantastic tonight for the U.S
They can't say anything other than a sprain at this stage until the swelling is down and it's scanned. A sprain isn't always an precursor to something more serious, say ligament damage though. You don't have to have one for the other. As I said previous there's the possibility it could be worse, we...

Well it's good news for now. Doctors will examine the injury post game. Swelling maybe?
