Re: Lennon gone - official
I'm happy that he's gone but i have 2 trains of thought;- 1) He's been stiffed big style by the "upper management" (prior to Sports shield) in that he couldn't bring in the players he wanted (Hooper etc) and then all the chaos behind the scenes has definitely affected everything. When he came into ...

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
I reckon Sunbed as Manager in next week or so (as Jimmy only interim and he doesn't want the job long term - his own words) with Big Sam coming in as Director of football in the summer.

Re: Sports Shield - New Owners (Probably)
A worrying aspect is the oversight the FL are insisting on and the embargo on player trading. Has any other club had these conditions attached? There really is more to this and maybe the FL have smelled a rat. 8) Its not an actual Embargo they will put on us, Super-John & Marc Iles said on Radio Ma...

Re: Sack The Board!
Occasionally manage to get a £10 ticket for the games. An hour after the take over and I'm asked to stump up £12.50! I can only assume it's to go towards paying off Lennon's contract, Deano's escorts or BP has had a larger than expected gas bill this winter! More and more like your brother e...

Re: Madine
It was after all Lennon that brought him here. What goes around, comes around... True, and it's all further evidence of Lennon's lack of suitability that he's got so little out of him. Sam could pick up waifs and strays and make something of them. He's still right to discipline him for repeated abu...

Re: Sports Shield - New Owners (Probably)
Iles: "FL meeting this afternoon to decide whether SS bid given the go ahead. Very possible that there won't be a definitive answer, though." Sounds........unproductive. Maybe they'll convene a committee to discuss the committee's findings amid much shuffling of paper. Elected or Supporter's Trust ...

Re: Madine
I don't think Lennon will go tomorrow. He won't walk and there's no-one to arrange and agree the severance package. Yeah, truedat. He's had much worse pressure, whether it's affairs or ammo, marital or martial . So thats why Anthony was missing from Uniteds' Europa League match last night, dirty ol...

Just on a side note, with all the "assurances" now submitted to the court about future funding etc, will ED now be able to do his "Directors" statement on the accounts about future funding and therefore get us out of the FFP embargo?

The club was sold for 7.75m with £15m still owed to Eddie Davies you said. I have some vague recollection of it being said Davies would right off the debt and sell for twenty million. Guess he pretty much got what he wanted. I'm not surprised. Be reet. That was years ago. For the past few months th...

Re: A bizarre night indeed
You didn't smell it after all that time? He was too busy having three roast dinners every evening :) That's not too far out to be honest  The police still took out about 4 bin bags full of stuff and are still here today taking all the lamps etc out. Although still no sign of "Tony" my Chinese ...

Too be fair, I did occasionally but it wasn't overly obvious which made me question if they were cultivating it or just heavy personal use.Mar wrote:You didn't smell it after all that time?

A bizarre night indeed
Strange night for me, heard loads of banging and shouting next door in my Chinese neighbours house which I thought was odd as he's usually quiet, then 20mins later, I go out the front door to be confronted by 3 police vans and a police car. Turns out that for the past 4 years I've been living next d...

Bit odd with David Tenant being the baddie in an American series. He's wicked to the core. He reversed into me and my mate earlier last year as we crossed the road behind his Yaris. That's my claim to fame - being run over by Dr. Who. 8) Actually you couldn't be knocked over by a nicer guy. He was ...
