Re: January and Clean Sheets

How many teams are keeping cleen sheets this season ? I think out back 4 and keeper have been playing well, considering our attacking style this season which leaves them a bit exposed and having to play high up the field. Yes Knight was sleeping in his 18 yrd. box when Sunderland scored, but does th...

Lord Kangana wrote:I might add today was the first time I uttered "WTF are you doing Coyle" when he took Petrov off. He was looking a threat on the break.
Still, can't have it all and we won.

Thought the same thing too LK... but in OC we trust!

Re: Wanderers v Hillbilly Banjo players

Moo pays the price for surprizingly speaking out about wanting Holden to return to play with him in midfield.

Re: Wanderers v Blackpool

I have dreaded the day that we lose Holden through injury as he has been our lynchpin playmaker in our midfield who can also tackle. A rare combination. Horrows upon horrors when I saw the team line up without him. I said to myself, now we will see what we will see. Could we still play the way we ha...

Where do you start after a game like this ! Absolutely brilliant game of football. Heroes all over the pitch but for me, KD, LCY and Cahill were all Giants out there today!! I want to see this game again, seated with a nice Red Stripe Beer in my hand. While watching it today, I could not sit down......

Very proud of our players today. We played really well, best performance of the season so far. We looked like a good team premiership team. The players did great, but honourable mention to Elmander, Knight and Robinson. They were superb. A lot has already been said about Elmander and Knight, but I a...

Never expeded to get anything from the Arsenal game, however, I must admit that when I heard about the Arsenal injuries and saw their team selection, I became quietely optimistic about us getting something out of the game. We gave it a good shot in the first half although Petrov was dreadful, Lee wa...

we have a 24 man squad why not just include him even if he is crap, just if we get desperate or have a full team come down with the shits!! My guess is to leave a spot open just in case we can get a good midfielder who becomes a free agent! I don't think we will be able to do that irie Cee Bee. If ...

No Riga and includes Al Habsi which means he can be recalled at any time beforre the January window. Surprised to see JLS who is now 3rd choice. Thought he would be sent out on loan to a championship club.

If this happens, I would be sad to see him go as he is class.. certainly ahead of what we currently have. I would not blame him for leaving as I know what it is to give your heart and soul for your team, only to face abuse. It was intersting to hear people saying Basham was Man of the Match vs Man U...
