Ah. Didn't realise that was your neck of the woods(ish). Thanks for the account. I'm quietly hoping that we will soon "click" and have an ok season. Your review leaves me optimistic.

For the record, at this point last season, our stats were P5: W0, D1, L4; GD-6. As we have three times as many points this season, I am confident we'll finish on around 150pts this year. Therefore, we'll thrash 'em. Heskey hat trick.

Dobbie Does Dingles - Rovers (A) 28/08/15

I'll be out of the country for this one. No telly, no wifi - just a Rovers mate providing me with text updates, not all of which will be true.

I'll take a point.

"Silva" is, of course, Portuguese for "forest". It's an omen.

I can't post pics from my phone, but the links take you to S&Gs, with a scenic woodland background rather than a pitch. Possibly a club joke about Forest?

@Enoch: my twitter is a bit rusty, but I think this means two in. Not clear which one we'll build the team around for Forest. Probably find out at 2:55pm on Saturday.

For the want of a better place to put this ....

A 95th minute equaliser for Bristol City means we slump to bottom of the league this evening.

Vaz Te training with Bury.... With our lack of goalscoring options, perhaps NL should offer him a trial with us....we could do worse, he had a good record with West Ham a couple of seasons ago in the championship It's his season!! Seriously? I'd be quite happy to offer him a trial. Potentially - ah...

Yes, NL referred to an "attacking player" rather than a striker at this morning's press conference. He also implied that the goals would come from Clough, Madine and Clayton.
