Something seriously wrong with our match prep here to concede so many early goals. Just like Barrow and Port Vale. We just turn to mush.

Home tie against a club currently in the bottom half of the league. These are the sort of games we need to push on and win if we are to make any impact on this league.

2-1 Bolton

Re: Pre-Season Friendlies

Although it's enjoyable seeing seeing the scoreline I hope we play teams a bit closer to League Two quality before the season starts.

So far we've played teams quite far down the pyramid:
Atherton - Level 7
Bamber Bridge - Level 7
Loughborough - Level 9-10

Re: New Manager Thread

Notice that the job role is now Academy Manager rather than Academy Director which I believe was Jimmy Phillips's job. I guess the main change is that Phoenix (as DoF) now has the overall say in the direction of the academy where as this role is the handling of the day to day running of the academy ...

Re: Carabao Yorks Nightmare. Leeds (A) 14/08/18

Donaldson seems to be playing on the right side of the half way line, could do with him up top more, seems to be a massive gulf between the rest of the team and Hall.

Good stuff, always good for a new striker to get the first goal in early. Less pressure then in other games.

Lee Chung-yong released by Palace. Surely we'll be back in for him considering how close we came in January.

BBC calling us "Strugglers" they've always hated us.

City aren't all that, plenty of opportunity to get something from this

Couldn't see us getting anything from today, funny how football surprises you. We seemed a different class today similar to the scunthorpe match at the turn of the year.

Hope we keep it up going into the "easier" games starting with Tuesday.

Re: Sheff Utd (A) 25/2/17 3pm

As for ALF, I think I'd give him until the Fleetwood game to start showing signs of making an impact. Ultimately if we get him firing we'll go up, so he's worth sticking with for now (and it's not like Long/Wilkinson/VSO are really banging the door down to replace him). I think Long is the most des...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I should imagine that's based on us losing £800k a month, which Ken said at the start of December. Given that was back when he was also saying we didn't have to sell, things have probably gotten worse since. The losses won't have got worse. I think the only thing that has changed is that Ken was ba...

Re: New broom in a new town MK Dons(a) 4th Feb 2017

I thought Morais looked good but was very underused, it was difficult for ALF and Solomon to make an impact though as we very quickly went into a full on defensive battle to hold on the moment their goal went in. I'd like to see ALF and Madine together as a classic 4-4-2 little and large paring. Wit...

One of the many mysteries of the season for me, he's always seemed perfect for the right back spot but has always been overlooked for either a out of place centre back or an academy lad

With Derik suspended & Dervite out, we are short on centre backs again so Wheater coming back is certainly good news if he's fit enough goes straight into the starting 11. The BN has an article on this - http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/13772661.Prince_was_vomiting_heavily_at_half_time...

I assume this is pay-on-the-day? I'm fecked if it isn't! Tickets are on open sale apparently. My feckin phone can't call the ticket office number, and for some reason you can't buy tickets online - # wtf Can anyone confirm that it's safe to drive there to pay on the day? Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Beeb thinks Darren Prately is playing for MK Dons these days rather than Rob Hall judging by this picture, you'd think the Bolton shirt was a bit of a hint: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32261938" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Probably as confused as we are that Hall could ac...
