Re: Giant Killing on the Cards? (Cardiff Thread)

If I had the videos I'd go through all the set pieces from today and last week and make a note of what we did with them. There is absolutely no point us having corners or free kicks at the moment. (I know, we scored from a corner Vs Reading...but they were probably just cutting us some slack!). Seri...

Re: We're going to visit the queen

i wouldn't park near there mate due to the area its notorious for car damage on match days. save yourself the worry and park in the car park for £5 Thanks for the info. That's a good reason not to park there! CAPSLOCK's reason that a 25 min walk before and after the game is in some way foolish is l...

Re: We're going to visit the queen

also to anyone driving there its a nightmare to park lads! I was planning on parking just the other side of the A33 (to the stadium). Seems to be a residential area near a St Paul's Church) that's about 25-30 mins walk to the ground, according to Google maps. Any reason why this might be foolish in...

Re: BWFC Podcast

We're back! Happy New Year everyone. We've a round up of the Christmas games, plus our take on Nottingham Forest and the debt (including a decidedly ropy take on Jessie J's Money song. Sorry about that). Anyway, if you like that sort of thing... http://www.themeninwhite.com/podcast/podcast-54-dear-r...

Lost the last one, Boro chance to put it right

Is it me, or are we on the eve of a game without a match thread? And are we still doing tenuous puns? I sure hope so, given the abomination that I have just come up with. So - a home game. Versus a team just above us (a five goal swing and we go above them in fact!). We could end the day within two ...

Re: The Debt.

Actually I just do not believe the debt figure, anything can be manipulated, If true though I would not let Gartside near a model railway or subuteo (or whatever) he's a total liability. Anything can be manipulated, but these are the club's accounts. If they're manipulated, it'll be to make them lo...

Do they still smell faintly of Stilton?
More of Shilton I believe.
Peter Stilton?

I've got a signed Fabriece Muamba shirt from when we played (Red) Leicester.

Re: Time to pop Boneymouth's cherry

Here we go again and Beckford gets a shot in to no avail. Commentary quite clear now and how nice another would be before the break. We have made a few chances to be fair, but we need to nail em. Dans getting decent mention as N'gog gets spoken to for an ambitiouis tackle. We have to defend again a...

New one out to fill the week-long build-up to the Owls... For the stat fans, we've worked out the goals per game average of all Bolton's post-Anelka strikers. Not the most encouraging listening, but quite interesting nonetheless. http://www.themeninwhite.com/podcast/podcast-50-is-that-a-corner-we-s...

Re: Do Owls poo in the Reebok woods?

I'm off to this one with a Wednesday supporting mate and someone who is, at best, neutral. Still, their money is as good as anyone's... Quick q. Have you been to the Fanzone . Is it any good? For some reason, I have never ventured to one before, but I'm staying at the Reebok so it's a choice betwee...

I'd consider sectioning freedman never mind sacking if tonights solution is baptiste at left back. What would your back four be, Dibs? That is like asking if I'd prefer to lose my left or right bollock... Mears/Baptiste/Mills/Ream I think. ABK. And edging towards ABW as well. Planks. Oh and whilst ...

That it could come to this - getting in a bidding war for Tony bloody Pulis. TBH I'd rather stick with Dougie I still await just one decent reason as to why :conf: I'll give you two. 1) He aint Tony Pulis, who I don't want 2) I agree with Dan . Our back four (sans Tierney)

It appears, according to Chris Eagles (see other thread), that Tierney may have broken his leg. So - while that thread can cover the pain, anguish and sympathy, we should get on with the business of re-jigging our back four. The McNaughton signing jus came into its own - although he's only here a mo...
