What's the betting Madine becomes available pretty soonish? He wasn't getting in their team towards the end of last season and Cardiff now seem to be targeting more strikers.
And if he ends up in the Championship Wheater and Beevers will take care of it.

Here is the interview with Rodwell: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5280715/Sunderland-outcast-Jack-Rodwell-insists-hes-not-blame.html Seems himself as a ball playing CH. There are some rumours that Sheffield Wednesday are also interested, as well as MLS teams, so it is likely tha...

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread

Oztumer would be a good signing & would be a signal of intent by Parkinson that he is looking to change the way we play next season and start to play on the floor through midfield ...or at least have the option to do so. I'm genuinely glad to hear we're (1) interested and (2) "close" to signing him...

Bolton. Parkinson will be allowed to offer a decent wage to a new striker. But he will have to be a free. Or a loan.

Re: Will we be beating the Blues, or singing the blues? BWFC v Birmingham 3/4/18 8pm

Is that as bad as is gets? I hope so, for it really can not get much worse. Absolutely pitiful beyond description. Never mind the hand-ball shouts, i've seen them given/not given, the overall was pathetic, limp, lifeless, soul destroying. It's often said you need a bit of luck to win a football matc...

I'm going. Proper fairweather(!) fan these days. Can't get to Saturday fixtures so have to settle for the midweekers. That this one is a reduced price affair is a bit of a bonus! COME ON YOU WHITES!

Re: Release or retain?

The premiership sides are overloaded with kids who'll never be given a chance other than the odd league cup game. That's where we need to be shopping. If a youth player is released at the end of their contract, does any club taking them on have to pay the development fee? No fee for released player...

Re: Can we get out of Gaol at Reading, or will we go home Wilde? Reading v B.W.F.C, 6TH March 8-0'clock.

I listened on the Radio to GMR and it sounded to me like two points dropped (a bit like the reverse fixture on our patch where we were 2-0 up and cruising before we f*cked it). They made 6 changes, were shit, had their reserve goalie in nets who was playing in South Africa last season and had only m...

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition

Are we really unpredictable? We're playing Ameobi as our outlet. If he is out for any reason I shudder to think what we do. But its hardly like we've suddenly become Man City overnight. We're grafting. But our general play is exactly the same as it was with Madine here. The shape has changed to acc...

Re: A Valentines eve massacre, or a rewarding date with old friends? Cardiff V BWFC 13/2/2018

This idea that sans Madine we're suddenly a side full of pace...not sure I get it. Ameobi can run with the ball but I'd not call him quick. In any event he would be playing as an alternative outlet even if Madine was still here. Clough is sharp but hardly the lightning on the break type - and so fa...

staggers me to think (and I know the market is bonkers) that we (potensh) made more on Madine than we did for any past Scandinavian player we sold, Feeeesh, Thommo, McAteer, Ricketts, Blake, Nolan.

Re: Providing sexy answers, or a little mesmerised by bigger Bristols? BWFC v Bristol City 2/2/2018 8pm.

There's been SOOOOOO much dribble written about the transfers. Drawn out, laden, dull text, i'm over that. Implications simplifications. It's Game Day. Who is fit for tonight? Who is facing a late fitness test? Are any of the four loanees match-fit? I know Clough hasn't had many minutes at Forest, a...

Re: Providing sexy answers, or a little mesmerised by bigger Bristols? BWFC v Bristol City 2/2/2018 8pm.

Bristol City are a good team They are - certainly from what I've seen of them. Their strength seems to be in running at the opposition (something they did incredibly well against City) and I really rate young Bobby Reid in midfield. I do think though that as a defensive unit they're wholly reliant ...
