Re: Reo-Coker
Isn't this what happened to him at Villa though. He let his contract run down there and made bold statements about playing in Italy and wanting to win things then signed for us!
Still early days yet, I'm sure someone in the Prem will pcik him up before too long.

Re: Rangers are liquidated
What I'm struggling to grasp is the SPL CEO saying if Rangers go into Division 3 it will have massive implications for 40 odd other clubs. I dont see how. Certainly all the Prem clubs are going to miss the income Rangers bring and the TV revenues, but the clubs in the other 3 divisions would have ne...

Re: The athletics/running thread
Took the endurance group at Harriers tonight. We did a lactate build-up session after our warm up (warm up - 800m jog followed by jogs and strength building exercises, running drills and a game of crumbs and crusts) So the session was: 8 minute run, 6 min run, 4 min run, 2 min run, 1 min run with a...

Leon best for £3m. Not a bad deal imo. I'm surprised that any player though has opted to go there given the current upheaval.

Cracking night out! Never seen so many pished and/or drugged people in my life People all around us were falling and sliding in the mud, courtesy of early gates and a hard day bang at it. Lots of pish flavoured bombs hurtling around too . Ian Browns voice wasn't too bad last night. He was badly off...

In a good side I can see Mavies being a real asset. Whether Liverpool are a good side or not is open to question. £6m sounds about right until you remember we gave em £4m for Ngog, so £8m would do for me.

I assumed Tango was referring to such subjects as Latin? I suppose there are still the odd crusty places that teach it but it wont be as widespread as it was pre say 1974.

Re: Tennis, anyone.....?
My interest in Tennis doesn't usually extend beyond Wimbledon (although Agassi's autobiography was a great read) but what really gets my goat is the All England club. Sometime in the 1980s I read an article about how many millions they earn from Wimbledon each year that they invest back into the Bri...

Sad but true. On the flip side I've seen folk try to level that accusation on a buildi...
