Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
^^ it was. Not in a bad way. But the "fact" that he was gay was one of those things everyone knew .... despite it clearly not being. (& yes, I know that lives aren't necessarily that simple but nonetheless). What was moving wasn't just the sad fact of the miscarriage but the detail of how they react...

Noticed on the Transfermarkt site that nobody has still picked up Junior Hoilett. Surprised Coyle hasn't offered him a trial at Dingles. Worth looking into if he's willing to drop a couple of divisions and wages. Ryan Babbel also on that list: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/statistik/vertragslosesp...

Nowt wrong with North Lower. After a couple of seasons watching the sun go down over the West stand, from my perch in the East and not getting the full post-hangover benefit of a drum beat, I've shifted back there too. And not because you're as tight as fecking cramp, then? Reet oh! :D ACTUAL "Laug...

It'll only become a Big Sam team when he gets his players into people's faces & the officials might take a dim hiew if that's not carefully introduced. In fact, some "top players" may find that outside their scope. He may have to pick players for his system, not try & shoehorn the most skillful 11 ...

Sam's extraordinary statement will haunt him for a long time. Meat & drink to those in the media hunting him already. I'm sure he meant it differently but needs to ensure more care in future remarks.

Yeah, but they won't be manufacturing for export to the 7/8ths, so they won't need as much resources, be they workforce, materials, support companies, transport companies, shipping companies etc etc.n SO probably less jobs, income generation, tax revenues etc etc etc. Of course our economy isn't sm...

Re: Middle East Crisis
Interesting stuff and genuine question here (& apologies, this probably should be for the Brexit thread) - if access to the single market was so important to the Japs, why did they choose us, a country not in the Euro? Surely it would make sense to have located in say Greece, and avoid the vagaries...

Side note: Absolutely convinced that Srktel was intentionally trying to get himself sent-off . From the first challenge and then every 5-10 minutes after. couldn't believe what I was seeing. Wonder if the local gangsters had a bet on a red card before the hour mark. Incredible stuff Agreed. ... & w...

^^^ the trouble is bw that none of those you name are leaders either. To be fair I can't comment on Stones but the nearest you come to one is Henderson and he's never England class. Think of Robson, Butcher, Adams, Terry (git that he is). Real leaders who get people to walk through walls. Rooney isn...
