Re: Pirates but not from Penzance. Away to Bristol Sat 6th Apr. 3-0'clock
A positive update today from the boss regarding Baxter, so I expect him to come in for a Coleman as the only change from Monday. The Gas have nowt to play for, and there seems to be a degree of negativity amongst their fanbase, so it would be very disappointing if we weren’t to win this one. 1-3 Bol...

We really will have fecked up if we don't go up automatically. Pompey and Derby not a shade on any of the three who went up last season.

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....
I concur, Mar. Coleman in recent weeks has shown himself to be a more than capable back-up and we should be pleased with the contributions of someone who has barely played for the past few years. I too am no longer overly concerned when he starts. However, prior to getting injured Baxter had proven ...

Re: Dem Bones, Dem Bones, Dem Bare Bones....
IE latest interview gives very positive news on the injury front - fingers crossed. Noises that Charles and Baxter could be ready for Saturday. I assume that Charles would only make the bench initially, but I suppose Baxter could start. Dan Nlundulu also supposedly close, although I struggle to see...

Yeah he seems to start every game for them, which is an encouraging sign. I wonder whether we'll look to loan him out again next season or try to sell him in the summer?officer_dibble wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2024 9:49 pmSaw khumbeni scored for Morecambe on Friday - might be able to make some money on him.

Bollocks, I turned away to do a bit of sanding on 45 mins and missed that goal. Ah well, up the Whites!

I am not an Evatt basher. He is learning the art of management and has not yet reached his ceiling. However, there are games in which he has been outmanaged, mainly because he is a slave to his system, and cannot find on field solutions when it doesnt work. I see more seasoned managers in our leagu...

Not the game you would want, but I don’t doubt our players will be relishing it.
Up the Whites.

I have awoken in a confident mood this morning and think we’re going to get the win today. Perhaps contrary to what some others think, I feel as though the pressure is off us a little now that we’re not in pole position for the autos. We’re also a better side than Stevenage and I’d bank on our away ...

Does Toal start after a hard game on Tuesday? Probably, but I’d be somewhat tempted to bring in Forrester.
Coleman
Toal Santos Iredale
Sheehan
JDC Maghoma Thomason Williams
Bod Collins

I don’t think there is any conspiracy. It’s just a manager who knows he’s under a lot of pressure to deliver and key players who aren’t yet fit. Maybe have had setbacks in their recovery. I really have believed for a long time that our sports science and rehab etc leaves an awful lot to be desired....

Another big pressure game in the run in. We’ve got to win one of these surely? Even statistical odds would say even absolute trash sides would win some of these. Do you recall us beating Oxford 5-0? Oxford are rubbish and it was in front of a small home crowd and a tiny away following. We all know ...

Iles certainly seems to be confused by the situation.
I have no idea what’s going on, but the vibes don’t feel particularly encouraging.

Re: The Nostradamus file....
Jones plays 82 minutes as Australia crush Lebanon 5-0 in Canberra. Given it's unlikely he'll be back in the UK until Thursday at the earliest I don't think we should expect to see him on Friday.

Re: The Nostradamus file....
Whilst it's unlikely Sheehan gets on the pitch tonight, I do hope that Wales get through as I'm sure it would be a big boost for his morale. In the context of this week, however, I'd imagine that there might be some fairly extensive celebrations tonight should they win, so perhaps not ideal for Frid...
