Re: Getting hairy: Portsmuff at home 13/4/24 3pm KO
Only managing to watch a few minutes here and there as I'm at work. Typically I missed our goal as I'd gone to get a coffee from the machine. Looked like a poor goal we conceded, but apart from dangerous on the break we look better. COYWM I fully expect you to make several trips to get coffee in th...

We have to keep Derby looking over their shoulder. Make them a little nervous knowing if they don't win we will. They're all must win until mathematically we don't need to win for me.

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign
If the team that played Reading turns up then we have nothing to worry about with regards our performances. The issue is *IF*. COYWM!!! Things is, we all thought that after the last 5-0. We know if that team turns up we're probably winning by some margin. We need to find consistency again. It's the...

There is a question for me as to whether our league one players are good enough to play the football demanded of them, to the level of consistency required. Champagne football with pub players or something like that? Dacres Cogley is a prime example, he puts the yards in, wins his battles, but his ...

Re: Not exactly a Derby. Away to The Rams, Sat 16th March 3-0'clock.
We're not far off. If we get some better quality passes/crosses in the final third I think it will make the difference in matches like today. We can do it, we're just not doing it consistently. Evatt needs to get them working on it constantly in training, that and concentrating on not brain farting ...

Quality of the final pass/cross is too often poor. Either that or too intricate that it only comes off every now and again.
Derby were solid and efficient, but not that great. If we could consistently deliver better balls into the box we'd have wont this and several others.

What the Insane one said. To a man superb and I suspect Derby might be a bit more nervous about Saturday than a bit earlier.
