Re: More than one owl? Count me in! SWFC away 12/1
Madine is such a frustrating player... he must be one of the top players in the league for winning 'aerial duels' or whatever you want to term it as (basically he wins loads of headers) but actually putting it between the sticks or not into the keeper's grateful arms!?! Terrible...

Re: The Debt.
I have to say all the ire and bile against eddie and the insinuations about PG's poor health being made up is disappointing me a bit... it doesn't feel helpful or just to me. I don't think (most) people are insinuating that PG has made up his illness, more that it might be as a result of the stress...

Re: Spotty's Seriously Sub-standard Second Rate Transfer Thr
Would be a shame to lose Feeney because he works bloody hard and is a risk-taker as much as he is maligned by some for his errors. In our position it would be hard to replace someone who works as hard as he does for the same level of quality.

Where are Bristol City getting their money from? They're hardly a massive club and they bid stupid money for Andre Gray before he went to Burnley as well... would they not be putting themselves in the FFP firing line?

Re: How long would it take to collect £10-15k in buckets?
Talking of buckets, couldn't the players just autograph a hundred of them and flog them at an auction?? Might get more than what people put in to them!! Terry Robinson is, er, interesting. Why would a club pay someone to sell their players on the cheap? Am I missing something? Is he employed or on ...

Re: We flipped the lilywhites' fans, Tango - Fulham (H) 19/1
Why does it always take us going down a goal or two to wake up? Was the same in the Reading game, same against Charlton last week... We seem to muster one half of decent football a game but it's inevitably too late to matter in the result.

Re: Gaffer's message to the fans
Still think he's the right man at the wrong time... hopefully he's in for the long haul with us because I agree with you Frazier...
This is a nice message though, I didn't donate but those who did are bloody good people and deserve some thanks from the club.

Re: The Debt.
Thanks Mr Davies for allowing us fans to see some truly great moments because of your financial support of our little club. We are now a nearly debt-free club that fully owns it's modern stadium and training ground and I would say we are an attractive proposition for new owners because of this. Inve...

Re: Royals, my arse! - Reading (A) 21/11/15
Not sure why Clarke is wanting to go to Fulham, Reading have been pretty good to him considering his results for a while were pretty rubbish but have picked up because the owners invested in the squad (sounds like a good idea, has anyone at the Macron considered that!?!)... And Pearson would be an o...

Re: Royals, my arse! - Reading (A) 21/11/15
Reading could be managerless by the time of the match on Saturday... they've cancelled their normal pre-match press conference today and Steve Clarke is looking likely to take over at Fulham.

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Defence should NOT be out issue. Defence is an issue, but not the main one. Five teams have conceded more than us - Fulham, QPR, Charlton, Bristol City and Rotherham - and we've kept more clean sheets (four) than eight other teams. But those four clean sheets have only yielded four points, because ...

...and of course the Bayern bigwigs would love to adopt the English model. Or better yet the Spanish model, without all that collective-bargaining-for-TV-deals stuff... Re: Question about a fan takeover
The German model for running football clubs is so much better than here, but it's too difficult now to change to this model without major changes to the club and/or the leagues. Their ticket prices and treatment of fans are way superior, mind you there's not much jeopardy in the title race in recen...

Re: Question about a fan takeover
They generally have a number of fans that happen to be wadded....and quite a few are backed by businesses as "fans". Wolfsburg are worried, coz they're backed by VW... Wolfsburg are different to other German clubs in that they (and Bayer Leverkusen) are owned entirely by one company. They are allow...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Dunno why I asked you then! You'd hope if it worked out we could get him til the end of the season Depends if they need his Englishness for numbers in PL or CL squads Can't you leave spaces blank if you don't have enough English players? I mean obviously they'd rather not leave blanks, but if they ...
