Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Dunno why I asked you then! You'd hope if it worked out we could get him til the end of the season Depends if they need his Englishness for numbers in PL or CL squads Can't you leave spaces blank if you don't have enough English players? I mean obviously they'd rather not leave blanks, but if they ...

Re: Bedsheets, Pitchforks and colours nailed etc.
I think it's quite clear isn't it? 4-2-3-1 with a target man upfront, two speedy wingers and a number 10/second striker to feed off the man up top. Likes his two midfielders to cover a lot of ground both offensively and defensively. His penchant for 3 at the back comes from his Celtic team which pl...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
From a friend of mine who lives in Brisbane and goes to most home games... 'I like him. Great passer at A-League level where he sat in front of the back four. Can tackle and shoots pretty well. He left on a technicality, and free. His pension had not been payed by the Roar so he was able to walk. T...

Re: The Pissing-Conduit run Nothing but Claret. Burrnla A 17
It must be nice when you can spend £6m plus on a striker in this division... We managed to get beat by MK Dons. I'd be surprised if their team cost anything like ours. Either to buy or to run. That's very true and I'm not excusing that. My point is that there is a growing chasm between the have's a...

It must be nice when you can spend £6m plus on a striker in this division... Desperately need investment. Seemingly just to stay afloat... there are a lot of teams who I feel are gambling on promotion in such a tough division but at this moment we just need more to keep ourselves in the division it...

Re: No'neills - QPR (A) 3/10/15
Three of the four goals were highly avoidable. 1 - Pisano closes the man quicker and stops the cross coming in from such a dangerous spot. 2 - Amos doesn't fluff his lines like an abject goon. 3 - A cracking goal - maybe defensively we didn't do enough from the short corner to allow someone time an...

Re: No'neills - QPR (A) 3/10/15
Doesn't seem like we could've done much about their third or fourth ... Honestly ? - watch it again and tell me that it couldn't have been avoided if: 1. Prince hadn't passed the ball straight to a QPR player instead of a Bolton player 2. Dervite (who is a very poor defender) hadn't gone diving in ...

Re: No'neills - QPR (A) 3/10/15
From the highlights, it looks like Amos fluffed one and 2 of the others were crackers, so it's unfair to call the entire team spineless (from what I've seen anyway). Was the overall performance worthy of all the doom and gloom? And Amos is one who seems to be getting away with any flak despite maki...

Re: No'neills - QPR (A) 3/10/15
Perhaps if Lennon feels the team is mentally weak with poor game management he should have signed players to address that . Instead I hear him criticising Silva for not holding the ball in the corner and crossing it instead. But where are the leaders in this squad? Who is the man to grab them round...

Re: No'neills - QPR (A) 3/10/15
I see too few games to be much of an analyst, but here goes .... Fck me, that was frustrating! We weren't terrible and you couldn't say "X" was shit. Equally, no one shone. Everyone pretty much gets a 6/10. If pushed, I might say Danns was marginally our best player (6.5/10) for his energy and mana...
