Re: Vital Lincoln City (A) - 7:45pm, 17 August
Really impressed with the standard and quality of football for this level. Entertaining game. We look more than comfortable away from home against the team that came 5th last season. Bridcutt is above this level but so are one or two of ours. Looking forward to the second half.

Re: Remember you were a womble. MK Dons (H) EFL L1 7.8.21 3pm KO
We have an outstanding talent in George Johnston. From what I’ve seen in two games, I think he can go all the way to the PL. he reminds me of Gary Cahill. Thought Dapo was poor in his decision making today. Should have slid in Sheehan and he should have had a shot when he got through on goal instead...

What they said, about sums it up... very even, really. Thought we had half decent pengy shout, but a long way from it. Playing in decent spurts. They carry threat. Have noticed a couple of our players pointing at "what to do with a goal kick"....More content please Evatt...was Johnston who gave it ...

Glorious chance for Doyle goalie dithered when clearing straight to Doyle who didn't control it. Very poor but performance first half overall good. They look useful going forward but suspect in defence. Johnson gave away the first to them but then cleared off the line. Thought it was Declan John wh...

Really enjoyed the first half. Atmosphere sounds great. There is a clear step up in standard from L2. George Johnston looks an incredible signing. Would like to see Sheehan get on the ball more. MJ Williams has struggled. Doubt we’ll come up against a better attack than this in L1. Can’t wait for th...

That'll be me (unless someone else has, too). 20/1 when we were 19th in the league back in Jan. 4200 if/when we go up. Was very tempted to take the 3k cash out before kickoff.Bruce Rioja wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 6:39 pmWhich one of is it that got a bet on at splendid odds? Was it you, Nico?

I would go with the same 11 that started against FGR.
Surprised there is talk of Sarc coming back in. Thought he was out for the rest of the season. Perhaps Evatt is playing games?

Re: Remaining fixtures
The next three matches are very important. I agree. Next 3 are huge and will decide whether its playoffs or automatics. I would take 5 points from those 3 games and keep the unbeaten run going. I thought Newport were the best team we've played this season (Tranmere 2nd). Statistically speaking, 82 ...

Are you riding the Discombobulation Express , DSb? I was looking at the league table yesterday and playing mind games with with the numbers. Permutations, combinations, team weighting etc. I gave up when I felt that a mental collapse was imminent. :( Never my intention to perplex, dear boy, only to...

Really big opportunity to make up some ground on those above us this weekend with Morecambe (5th ) Vs Newport (6th ) and Tranmere having no game. Tough games for Cambridge (Oldham away - new manager bounce) and Cheltenham away at playoff chasing Exeter (8th).

Surely there will be a few of the bigger teams in L1 and possibly some Championship sides looking at Santos. How it just nonchalantly knocks it/dribbles past players is incredible. What a talent. Can’t add to what has already been said. What a feeling to be genuinely excited about watching us play. ...

Re: Would you get an iFollow season ticket?
Does iFollow work overseas, do we know? It sure does, I love it! I live and work in Switzerland, I get to watch every home and away game for £150 a season. This is the 3rd straight season that I have signed up to it. I rarely miss a game. The only games I can't watch are the ones that they show on ...

Did anybody spot a bit of aggro between Zouma and (I think) Emmanuel at the final whistle? Zouma looked gutted at FT, to be fair. Hope he bounces back, because he's shown an awful lot of promise thus far I disagree. I think he’s awful. Looks like he’ll gift a goal or a big chance every time I’ve se...

Bit of background on Ali Crawford . 5ft7in Scot who turned 28 in summer.... Thanks for that, DSB. Great insight, certainly seemed to divide opinion. Perhaps he has been brought in for free-kicks and corners and to work his socks off. Sounds like he made a good impression against Rochdale last seaso...

Was interesting to hear Bassini say he'd instructed proceedings and some sort of injunction against Anderson. He clearly (in amid the incoherence) appeared to be suggesting there were some sort of post Contract demands.. How you made anything out is beyond me...all I got was... “Bolton...right....r...

Re: Backs to the Millwall, Sat 9/3 3pm
Good post and something which has always fascinated me. Surely it is much easier to see if you are executing your game plan from above the action. Big Sam used to sit in the directors box for the first half alot during his time at Bolton. There is no rule that stipulates that the manager must be in ...

The Luke Murphy substitution can be looked back on one of the worst this season. fecking dreadful. 1. Gives the ball away in midfield. Dave Wheater red card. 2. Gives the ball away in midfield. 2-0 Swansea. I think he's touched the ball 6 times. 100% this. Was about to post something similar. Not f...
