As hard as he worked off the ball, 2 goals in almost 3000 league minutes was obviously not good enough. Frees up about £4k a week in wages which is a decent chunk of change to work with at this level.

Barnsley are a better team than us, I’m fine with that. We can play a lot better though. Can’t see us scoring in the second half mind…

He's looked a decent L1 player to me from what I've seen (but I haven't watched loads of his match footage), think he'd offer decent competition at the RWB spot. I’ve always thought Ryan Broom could be a good option for us at CAM (if we don’t get promoted). Wouldn’t demand the world in terms of wages, decent technically and works hard off the ball. I think we could do a lot worse.
