 Lion of Vienna reporting that the remote possibility I suggested earlier that we sign Ched Evans on loan as 'transfer gossip'. Batman says he feels morally conflicted. feck off, Chris. ;)
He would be a decent signing for us in League 1

Re: Administration and recovery

FV borrowing money already before the takeover is even complete, doesn't bode well IMO If this ever goes through they will need a very good PR strategy to get fans on side, as some of the fans have lost faith with them already. I know that we don't know the facts & what has gone on behind the scenes...

Re: Administration and recovery

Now seriously is not the time to worry about the administrators and their fees. Deals are in place for the club and hotel. They could be done very very quickly. The fact that as it stood yesterday they weren't being is not down to the club admins - who yes are very handsomely rewarded for what they...

Re: Administration and recovery

What happened to 'the deal is imminent' headline reported on sky & the bbc etc. on Monday - was this just a deflective bullshit announcement put out by the extremely incompetent admins because Bassini had rolled up spouting his shite ?

Re: Administration and recovery

How long do we go on waiting for the miracle cure? It's not coming. FV have less cash than KA. I think this is the end people. I agree. Me three. We've had our chips. This is only my opinion, not like the 'I'll pretend I'm ITK I know more than all the rest of you' Insane poster, but I think that it...

Admins think it will be further points. 3 is what they’ve suggested to interested parties.
Give it a rest will you Mr know it all, just more speculation without any facts to back it up.

Re: Administration and recovery

I'm starting to believe Bassini may have had a point Bassini would only have a point if he could demonstrate that his bid (the one within the timeframe) was better than FV's, which he probably can't do as he won't have seen FV's... Perhaps he now has ammunition, as its now public knowledge (stated ...

Re: Administration and recovery

It appears to me like the club admins have made a serious error in terms of FV being preferred bidders (knowing that it was dependent on also acquiring the hotel, yet having no control over the sale of the hotel), its almost bordering on being negligent. If I was one of the other bidders I would be...

Re: Administration and recovery

No spinning of plates here, just sheer incompetence by both the club admins & FV My point is how on earth were they appointed preferred bidder, when their 'preferred' bid was dependant on the hotel being part of the agreement (so with conditions attached) when it clearly wasn't part of the bid for t...

Re: Administration and recovery

So a statement from the admins selling the club have stated that FV's 'preferred bidder' business plan (with EFL approval) needs both the club & hotel. Yet the hotel admins a few days ago stated that they have had no communication with FV to date & very little communication from the club admins. It ...

Re: Administration and recovery

Nixon: "Council now trying to help to get Football Ventures deal done ... massive push to get this sorted. Re: Administration and recovery

So is their a financial hole in their business plan ?, did FV lie to the administrators ?, have they provided concrete proof of required funds ?

The Leopard & Insane appear to have differing opinions, which I agree is not unique

Re: Administration and recovery

Any PFA loan will NOT be for FV to complete the deal with. It will be a loan to allow the administrators to pay players at the club - probably to allow them to play in a friendly. The PFA will not loan millions. We'll be talking a fairly small amount here. And it will be paid back on completion of ...
