Re: Administration and recovery

That subtle "adjusted his stance" is pretty damn important isn't it?

This could have been a far more relaxing day if we had all known that liquidation tomorrow was not going to happen due to a prior adjustment of stance!

Re: Administration and recovery

I wish the media would actually get to the bottom of what it is Ken wants in the deal at the last minute. If it is a clause that no action can ever be taken against him if he defaults on payment to EDT, then they should be reporting it and asking him questions about it, and why it is worth killing B...

Re: Administration and recovery

I know what you said, This is my non - ITK reckon inferred from the bits we do know. It is also pretty positive so would appreciate if nobody came along pointing out the flaws. But!! That would obviously be bad for KA. So I imagine the trustees are saying that they will also accept the eg 80% from ...

Re: Administration and recovery

Sounds like Bassini is just getting ready to go through the first step of the admin process, the one that was required in early May. I'm sure he will arrive for a look round the hotel (the one he has only just realized exists) in December with a view to refurbishing the bar, as the north, west and e...

Re: Administration and recovery

So,I know the main objective here with the admins and EFL setting deadlines is to get minds focused with the aim of getting the FV takeover agreed. The liquidation process however, I understood that typically takes 5-7 working days until the company is actually liquidated. Would that apply here, fro...

Re: Administration and recovery

^^As I said everyone involved needs to go public, both to inform the supporters, and to flush this slimey wanker out. That is just typical KA deflection. His lawyers are representing him!!

Re: Administration and recovery

KA's m/o is to muddy the waters with the media, often insisting it is down to others, to keep the heat off himself.

This is why people need to go public. Right now he is taking us out without taking any flak He'll fold if the media heat is cranked up...

Re: Administration and recovery

Imho Ken's mind has been firmly focused for about a year. And here we are... If we liquidate, does he makes as much as he's been offered? I'm certain he's on the take. I don't think he necessarily wants the best for the club. But I don't think he'd lose money to kill us. Well back in March/April ti...

Re: Let us pray it is Swords into Ploughshares: H v Ipswich 24.08.19

That was so sad. It wasn't competitive in the slightest. Ipswich stepped it up after half time and it could've been really embarrassing. It really was lads v seniors. King Harmes looked the best of the U18 bunch, Zouma is very confident, might be very decent eventually. A few of them shouldn't be an...

Re: Administration and recovery

Debbie Jevans from the EFL is now saying it is Friday midnight... Funny how deadlines seem to focus minds. There are now four bids in to buy them. There is a live blog here. Hope it isn't a forerunner for a BEN version in the next few weeks... https://www.burytimes.co.uk/sport/17854536.bury-fc-crisi...

Re: Administration and recovery

Do we know what time the axe falls on Bury tomorrow? And is the woman still chained to a drainpipe or did she get to bed last night? So many questions... I can't wait 'til Halloween has been and gone. I'm ready to vote 2019 the shittiest year of the twenty first century. Apparently 5pm for Bury. Ca...

According to Betfair, we are 35/1 (thirty-five to one) to beat Ipswich!!

15/2 draw, 1/12 them.

^^Interesting, the final paragraph of the EFL statement reads: Bury would then be free to make an application to the Football Association to re-join league competition further down the English football pyramid from season 2020/21. I didn't instinctively read "further down the English football pyrami...

Re: Administration and recovery

EFL have suspended Bury's game this weekend and awarded Sheffield Wednesday the previously postponed League Cup game https://www.efl.com/news/2019/august/efl-statement-bury-fc-update3 Golden share to be transferred 5pm on Friday, according to Iles. Never liked them, but that’s bloody awful news. Ho...
