The U23s kicked off their season with a 3-1 victory against Bristol City last night. Sounds like we've got a couple of real promising lads coming through (Politic and Navarro particularly) who hopefully will be given a chance to get games at senior level (here or on loan) this season.

We have no pace in our squad, which is really worrying for me. I would hope and think that Parky/Anderson/whoever are monitoring loan and permanent signings who will address this issue.

Do we really need to be spending cash on both of them? This isn't an issue we've had for a long time, but given the squad requirements it woukd seem strange to spend all our cash on two similar players.
