Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign
Wycombe had the better of that second half and Derby’s keeper made a couple of crucial saves.
We’ll take that though. Back in our hands if we win Saturday. Beat Pompey on Saturday and I’m confident we’ll have it wrapped up by 5pm on the 21st

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign
Wycombe all over the show defensively. Derby should really be a couple of goals up, in what has been a fairly poor first half

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign
Cant see Derby dropping anymore points. Thought Wycombe away for them would be our best bet, but with them losing the final, it will be hard for them to pick themselves up having nothing to play for now. Arguably our best bet is for them to drop points against Leyton Orient or Wycombe. Trouble is, ...

Cameron Jerome might just go down in Bolton folklore! What a cameo.
Not much to say about the game other than we didn’t play particularly well. But also didnt particularly look like we wouldn’t win, once we got ahead.
Lovely finish by the Collins.

She’s got a nasty gash
On her shin. Where she went off and presumably had a couple of stitches before coming back on to score the opener.

Yep. Also highlighted just how leaderless united look on the pitch.

Re: Race to the tape: 2024's League One promotion campaign
I am sure the team that beat Reading will turn up. However, Its what the opposition does that will make us look like world beaters or like wankers. Some will see the Derby vs Portsmouth game and say.. hey, how on earth are those teams ahead of us? We are better than they are based on how they look....

Derby will win 1, lose 1, draw 2 and finish on 87 points

Getting better with each game, Baxter. However, he’s miles behind Baxter and if Baxter’s good to play, he has to.

Went to York for a couple of days with the kids and just got back. Absolutely knackered but I do love the place. Proper f-you money though. Absolutely everything costs a bomb. Since when weren’t museums free of charge? Loved doing plenty of activities with the kids and trampling around the city look...

Re: Not between the lines...V Reading at home Monday Apr 1st 3-0;clock
One of the most satisfying wins this season. I said to the people I was with on Friday that we’d batter these and we did. Fantastic goal from Collins (another one who’s apparently shit). His movement and the way he pops up all over the pitch is fantastic. Delighted for him. Bodvarsson was great too....

I went to this. In absolutely no rush to travel away from home any time soon. Santos getting booed from minute 1. People screaming for the manager to resign at half time. Booed off at half time despite playing, I thought, pretty well. Full time came and plenty stayed behind to tell every single play...

I don’t know. You do seem like you revel more in defeats than wins. I get it though, you mentally prepare yourself for failure so you’re not too disappointed when it happens. It’s natural mate. I’ve only just started forcing myself to be positive.

It was absolutely unreal. They're mad, mad, bastards. They've got a full time forager who goes out and finds some weird tree sap and then a full time "development chef" who dicks around to see what they can do with it. Also really sound and down to earth staff, happy and keen to explain everything ...

I coach my son’s u8 team. This morning, one of our lads was racially abused by another kid from the opposition team. He was called an “f-in black monkey” the kids parent heard it and she went absolutely wild at him naturally. Turns out she’s a deputy head teacher and she was genuinely saddened, appa...
