Re: A welcome on the hillside......V Swansea at home, Sat 10-11-18 , 3-o'clock.
Thanks pru for saying you don't go. If I didn't go, wasn't a STH I might be able to turn a blind eye and forget about it and say on to the next match. But I can't justify paying and having to go and watch the dire negative games each time and knowing when and not if the opposition scores, usually wi...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
My point is, how many goals, has that team of 11 players, scored recently? None, the two players who have scored, this season, he had on the bench today! I'm not talking about last season, the season before, I'm talking here and now, he has lost the plot, he chops and changes too much and that is a ...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
If Parky was able to sign decent players are we sure he would know how to get the best out of them? we are short on goals, so he had two strikers on the bench, they may not be the best strikers but they won't be, sat on the bench will they? anyway, I've had enough of them, I won't be going to the wi...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
It doesnt matter whether he wanted him or we didn't. We havent't got him so is it relevant? At the end of the day, Parkinson looks defeated, he doesnt know what to do next, so me personally I would sack him so we can preserve what he did do for us, and that is now in our history books, BUT we have t...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
You have just said it all there Nich. He is ok in the 3rd tier, that's where he belongs. He can manage there, organise there, but it's too much for him in the Championship. He is out-thought on every tactic going in this league

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
Of course he should be sacked! But Parky's job is the safest in all 4 leagues. We have no money, he knows that, so it will carry on in the hope that we might get a win (no hopes of that). We have the most cautious defensive minded manager and we can't defend. We depend on Ameobi, who by the way was ...

I feel the same LLS, I think all Bolton fans feel like that. I feel even more frustrated when I see the likes of Wigan being taken over by some Chines Billionaire, WIGAN!! I hope Ken isn't taking the p**s when he says he is talking to "several investors". I just get the feeling he is though. In the ...

And who is coming along to invest in us? All sounds simple, investor walks in, new people who want to spend, new manager with ideas. It's all La La Land and make believe, dreamland, until this happens we are stuck with this manager and a chairman who just wants his profit at the end of the day.

We play Swansea next week, who have just been beaten at Rotherham. If we dont get any points from Swansea (I know they have just come down from Premier league) then I think Parky's time will be due to come to an end

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?
The first time this poll came out I said yes. Now, strangely enough I have said no. Don't think we will get anybody better suited at the moment for the club.

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
"Entertainment" is relative. Blood and thunder is just as entertaining as tiki-taka for some. Personally, I'm not asking for us to pass the opposition to death. What I - and I'm sure many others - want is more aggression, more urgency, more energy, a willingness to get forward, and an ability to ge...

I've just had a word with Blackadder and he's come up with a cunning plan. He say, "Stop giving them a one goal start every game (deny it if you can) and play like you are the better team in stead of looking like a bunch of slaves in a Roman arena."....I said I'd pass it on to Parky if I could. Whi...

With the hoof football served up on Saturday, Parkin's quote about Oztumer was spot on. It would have been a waste of time for him. These "quotes" recently in the BN are ridiculous, especially the one which stated Gary O'Neill was our "attacking" option on Saturday!

Nice compact Stadium that, first time I've been. Anyway, unfortunately now I have to come to comment on the match. We were not good it was awful to watch and personally we were fortunate to come away with a point. But a point we got and I came away a very relieved fan.

Re: Love thy Neighbour...Bolton V Blackburn Sat 6th Oct.17-30
Grounds was our major problem yesterday, schoolboy defending and that's insulting schoolboys. I also think we are like toothless dogs we threaten to bite, but in the end just have nothing. If like some we are relying on Ameobi coming back, we have one big problem as he can have good days and bad. I ...

Seems like Parkinson disagrees with most in regards to the awful passing last night and thinks that we passed it well.... "I think we acquitted ourselves very well in the second half. We passed the ball well and got into some threatening positions, and really I do think the referee has cost us toni...
