Amazed he hasn't started Mattheson and rested Williams. If you can't trust your best B team lads for fixtures like this, when can you?

Re: This Pizza tastes of Man Ure! Bolton v Utd Kids @H Tues 260923.

Evatt's first ever Pizza Cup team... Crellin; Brockbank, Delaney, Taft; Hickman (Jones 76), White (Comley 66), Sarcevic, Gordon; Crawford; Delfouneso (Miller 66), Doyle. Unused Subs: Alexander, Senior, Tutte, Darcy. Wow  . A good reminder of how far we've come. Just showed it to Mrs G who re...

We were 2nd best today, before and after the red card.

We're a good side, so are they. Neither strike me as a top two team though

Confident of a win today. Backs feel slightly against the wall so I expect them to come out fighting. Forrester and Morley to start and shine.

2-0 win

Re: Burn after Reading. Reading (A) League 1. Saturday 16th September 2023. 3pm KO

Pretty pissed off at us for losing this one. Last year we were tight at the back but didn't create or convert, enough chances. Saturday we looked shaky at the back from the off and yet created enough chances to have been able to declare by the hour mark. Converting still an issue then. I like Evatt,...

Re: Burn after Reading. Reading (A) League 1. Saturday 16th September 2023. 3pm KO

Was there for the taking that. Poor game management by Evatt. Definitely a shout for poor game management there. I don't think we can particularly blame Evatt for the midfield going missing for Savage to get a free shot off at his leisure I felt we should have subbed a couple of the midfield off by...

Burn after Reading. Reading (A) League 1. Saturday 16th September 2023. 3pm KO

Back to the bread and butter of league football this coming Saturday. Reading still trying to adjust to life in a lower division, points deductions and significant spending reductions so a good time to play them? They've still got some championship quality there and the less said about our last meet...

Re: Tonight's Football

Meh. It wasn't good, but it was a truly awful pitch, they're not a bad side (and obviously were mega pumped). Already basically qualified, it's a perfectly fine point. Agree that it's tough to see how Henderson and Maguire are still in there. Chilwell is an excellent player. The Saudi Government wi...

Re: RWC 2023

So for the novice here - how come ours was a red and theirs wasn't? Both seemed to have an element of accidental contact Over complicated, because if you look at the two, Carreras looked more out of control than Curry. Difference was Carreras contacted a couple of other places prior to the yed. Che...

Re: The Champions Go Again! FLT at Home v Salford Sept 5th, 7:45

That's true re Dan. I noticed it particularly on Saturday but again last night, he doesn't look like a player who's trying too hard or chasing lost causes, which is what I'd expect from someone trying to force their way into contention. The movement from the midfield in the 1st half was great to se...

Re: The Champions Go Again! FLT at Home v Salford Sept 5th, 7:45

Enjoyed that. Should have been 5 up at half time, one of the most one sided half's of football at the Reebok that I can remember. 2nd half was more us, lots of great openings and opportunities but very few shots and several poor choices and touches around the box. I've been willing Dan to come good ...

Re: Snog, Marry, Avoid: Summer 2023 Transfer Window

It's highly likely to have cost us isn't it? Standard procedure is to pay up the contract for a released player who hasn't requested a transfer. Mutual agreement may mean, we've only paid a proportion of the wages and bonuses that were due.

Re: The Rest of League One 23/24

Fleetwood sack Scott Brown. Glad I wasn't the one to tell him. Odd decision. He's brought several players in this summer. Since yer man was sent down there have been concerns regarding the clubs finances and sustainability. Paying up the contract of a bloke, who on the face of it, was doing a ...
