Re: Villa Away.

You should be in Birmingham (like I am). The Villa fans are almost suicidal at present. They obviously haven't seen us play. And if you thought Megson was hated, their views of McLeish are unprintable.

Re: Is Eddie Davies losing the plot?

Never understood the love for Gartside round here. Kept the club stable but his footballing decisions are flawed to say the least (Lee, Megson, Carling Cup final tickets, Rivaldo, his blaming this season on injuries and nothing else).

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures

I feel a wet Tuesday night at the villa coming on! Always rains when I go there.... Could be the turning point? We may have had to create a little movement before then, but it certainly looks important as a winnable game against a possible Railegation Replacement Service. Villa away always reminds ...

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures

Can't rely on feckin' anybody... Alright, hands up, how many people on here have broken coffee tables and severely winded cats from all the major knee-jerk kicks? The pessimism is ridiculous. If the games last night showed anything, it's that at this stage of the season, league position matters not...

Re: Bottom 5 fixtures

The other week we'd won three on the go and all were optimistic of staying up. Now you'd think we were 20 points adrift with two games to go.

There'll be plenty ups and downs over the coming weeks with some events going in our favour, others not. It will go to the final day. Anything can happen.

Sold out? Drat, was planning a trip, though as away experiences go Wolves isn't one of the most welcoming.

I think a picture of Batman crusading against the injustice of Littlejohn's article would have been more appropriate, Dwight.

With Ratbert, we all meet weekly on a secret forum in an underground bunker in Darcy Lever and print leaflets about fictitious Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Italian and Indian restaurants opening everywhere in Bolton. These all go straight into recycling bins thus create jobs for binmen, our "Help the Co...

All is not lost? Marc Iles sez: 11.50pm General disappointment felt over break down of Zaha deal, but I understand the club are still working to get someone else in aside from Myaichi on loan from Arsenal. Short-term loans look likeliest. Is this Japanese lad coming up from the Arsenal or what?

Otherwise, "we'll have to go with what we've got"

Re: CH's all singing all dancing transfer gossip thread on t

Is Zaha that good we're offering £7m? Not sure this 'promising young player' approach-to-the-exclusion-of-all-else is necessarily the right one. I know proven players are expensive but with the Cahill money to burn and given our predicament, gambling on Zaha (and do we need a winger that badly?) cou...
