Under 21 at the start of the calandar year which makes Taylor( Whom I forgot to add to said list above) and Ramsay the only players who qualify out of that list. We're at 22 with everyone currently here. Sorry, you're counting Matheson? I don't think that's correct, is it? I'm aware I'm not 100%, s...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
Matheson is surely going out on loan? and maybe another departure? If not this is surely the biggest squad we've had in a while. We're allowed 22 registered players excluding keepers. Jones, Iredale, Santos, Dacres-Cogley, Forrester, Toal, Ashworth, Matheson, Ogbeta, Ramsay. Thomason, Sheehan, Morl...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
So is that our business done or are we still in the market? Iles expecting no other incomings, which is fair. One or two young loans out - Matheson presumably. And with that, and the injury news better than feared, I’m out for a bit. Got my own deadline - to lie on a beach, I fly home tomorrow… Hav...

Taylor's actually mixed race.

Could be better, could be worse. Losing Rico for any length of time is a blow - he's one of the best in this league. It might weirdly be a good thing. It's forced them to act and they've done so in a very cost-effective manner. It could be that 2 weeks from now we're a lot stronger than we'd otherw...

With Jones back next week after South Korea incinerate the Aussies that leaves us really quite strong for the rest of the season.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 3:19 pmTwo centre halves carrying injuries through run in though I guess has promoted move for Taylor.
Santos is a massive miss against Barnsley, mind.

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
IE on Santos: “Not great, he has got a slight tear behind his calf. It is in a position which makes it a little bit more complicated than it ordinarily would be.” Not always easy to follow Marc's deadline scribbles. I read this as "Santos has a small tear, rested for 2 weeks", "Toal can hopefully p...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.
Serious point - if as rumoured Santos has a bad injury and is out for a while - back four would make sense and we could play Collins and CMG off a striker. But then you've got very little to do when your wingers get tired. You're throwing on players like Charles, Bod or Vic into wide areas, unless ...

Na, it's fine. Good signing for them if they can get it over the line in time.
Next season we'll be in the Championship and with the new data chaps involved we'll see what we can go.

Looks like it'll be Taylor in on loan and Matheson out on loan.
Honestly, well done to all involved. Really don't want to find out who is hurt, but this is good work.

One other other thing. Taylor is young enough that we can still register all the injured lads, in case we can give them some minutes late on in the season as part of their rehab. We might well choose not to, but it'll probably keep them motivated.

Have to say that if we leave this window with Ogbeta, Ramsay, Collins and Taylor it's been some going from Markham et al.
