Re: Top 5 of all time...

Comedies. 1) The Office (UK version) - It’s a bit marmite but for me the best piece of British TV ever made. Full stop. A masterpiece. 2) Fawlty Towers - Absolutely timeless. I can watch it anytime and laugh out loud and not much today that ticks that box. 3) I’m Alan Partridge - Jurassic Park. 4) ...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Perhaps the next top 5 category for me (and Tango) should be period dramas. Currently enjoying Poldark here.

Re: This weeks RIP's........

Got Prince P’s funeral on in the background. Not a royalist particularly but the old guy served his country well in war time and pretty much gave up massive chunks of his life to support the queen. Sad for her. She’s a good old stick even if some of the rest of her family leave a little to be desired.

A home made MCDs brekkie also a good shout and dead simple - recipes all over t'internet and taste amazing ( without having to leave the comfort of your home or guilty pleasure PJs/loungewear of choice ...) Whilst on the topic of guilty pleasures, Uber Eats delivers MCD's :-) No need. All that is n...

Re: Top 5 of all time...

1. Blackadder 2. The Office 3. Peep Show 4. Extras 5. Fawlty Towers I could easily have chucked several others in at 5th place. Oh. Blackadder. I forgot Blackadder. How could I? I really enjoyed blackadder the 4th. Most poignant scene ever in a comedy at the end? But didn’t really get into th...

Re: Top 5 of all time...

How about top 5 best comedies on the tv? I’ll start with: 1. The Vicar of dibley - I’m sure this won’t be a popular choice but I love it. 2. Friends. It’s a classic really. Isn’t it? 3. Car share. A more recent programme, wish they would make more series. Some really sweet moments, as much as funny ...

Urgh. I’ve got to coach and umpire cricket this term at work despite the fact that rounders is a wayyyy better sport that they could be playing.

Re: Dulux. New Spurs sponsors

Great stuff from Dulux, to cheer GG up, new sponsors of Spurs. Started off ok with Dulux dog getting a tour of the New White Heart Lane...but as the social media thread developed, they were asked if the Dulux dog could play centre back and responded - he might do a better job. Then asked if they in...

Same. Guilt free Film: Sister Act TV: Antiques Road Trip Music: Tricky...if I thought something was shite, I wouldn't listen to it. For a "rocker", I like a number of "mod" bands like The Jam... Food: The Full English - has to be done on a weekend. Clothes: My guilty pleasure is sneaking out having...

I think you should both be pretty embarrassed tbh, what with your cosy clothing and regular naps you’ll be moving into adjacent rooms at the local old folks home soon 👴🏻👴🏻

Hmmm, I’m not sure I feel that guilty about many of these tbh but I’ll give it a go. Song: I do love a sing along to a bit of ‘Steps’... Film: I have no guilt re film choices. Unashamed fan of romantic comedies. Tv: Ooh, again no shame but ‘When calls the heart’ you lot would probably think a bit ‘s...

Re: Today I'm happy about......

Our result today was so poor, it deserves to be read out after the Gloucester and district Ladies 2nd division scores. Bad enough to get rid of the facial hair?!
