Pulp Fiction
Goodfellas
Once were warriors
Fargo
American Gangster

Not a romcom amongst em. Big shout out to Marley and Me though for making me cry!
Why does that not surprise me?! :D

(I’ve not watched any of them! ^)

Re: Top 5 of all time...

So what’s the next category then?! Any good ideas anyone?! Movies? Good idea. Pretty sure I will be the only one of us having rom coms occupying the top 5 spots though. I’m not a massive girlie girl, but when it comes to movies... 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 This requires some thought. Can we say they have to include...

Re: The athletics/running thread

A slow 5 miles tonight. Getting to the stage where a longer mileage doesn’t seem so daunting but still not getting much speed.

Re: Interesting article...

Enjoyed that. A really good read. Nice to see Nobby get a mention. I recall him being involved with the Sunday league team whilst with us. I’m sure I’ve read about trials being held with released players, but wasn’t sure how much support is offered to young players dropping out of the game at very ...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/extra/hfe5e1289y/The-Impossible-Dream An interesting (long) read if you have time over on the beeb. About the paths of 2 promising youngsters in football to where they are now. I read that earlier. Good read if a little never ending I hope more is being done now to scoop...

Re: The athletics/running thread

So last day of abs and crunches today! 🎉 Who’s finished?!! Not yet. Last day injury whilst running. Do I risk it? 🤔 You? Whatever happens, I think we should all be chuffed with ourselves for sticking it out. :oyea: Just done now. 40 sit ups no problem and 100 squats ok but 100 crunches hard going. ...

Re: Top 5 of all time...

Well I cant post pictures, Enfield school of technology graduate, me :) so you'll have to use your imagination. 1) Ajax at home. A timeless classic. I had one as a kid. 2) Barcelona (H) 1970s. No sponsorship. Just a nice striped number. 3) Bolton 3rd 1990-92. The gingham classic. Looked good with a...

Re: Top 5 of all time...

How about favourite football shirts you have owned (or just liked)? You don’t have to be sad like me and put a photo montage together, I just have time as Mr GG doing school run today and given you’re not Arsenal fans you’d have no clue which I was talking about otherwise, as I suspect I won’t with ...

Re: Top 5 of all time...

Ok, tough one this, we travelled abroad a bit before kids but since their arrival have been limited cost wise to the U.K. Still been to some lovely places though. 1. My friends farm in Devon. If I could go back anywhere it would be here. They don’t own it now sadly but had some amazing working holid...

Re: The athletics/running thread

Day 28 - Done! 25 sit ups, 80 crunches and 95 squats That was hard! When I do my crunches I vary each 10. So 10 normal, 10 right elbow to left knee, 10 left elbow to right knee and repeat. Changes the focus but also engages the obliques. 😊 Woah! Woah! Woah! One step at a bloody time, man! Y...
