Re: Administration and recovery
Nixon: "Council now trying to help to get Football Ventures deal done ... massive push to get this sorted. Time not on anyone’s side either" KA to FV 'out of the frying pan into the fire' springs to mind. How FV can't understand the urgency of the situation is quite astonishing, either that or they...

Re: Administration and recovery
Any PFA loan will NOT be for FV to complete the deal with. It will be a loan to allow the administrators to pay players at the club - probably to allow them to play in a friendly. The PFA will not loan millions. We'll be talking a fairly small amount here. And it will be paid back on completion of ...

Re: Administration and recovery
https://twitter.com/reluctantnicko/status/1151407644294426625 Adding credence (if you believe it) to the FV don't have the cash story... For Rioja who's IT is sadly lacking - says FV have approached PFA about a loan... If this is true, big if ? then why on earth did the admins select them as prefer...

Re: Administration and recovery
Hotel admins have said tonight that it will be at least a further 4-6 weeks before any sale of the hotel, and that they haven't had any dialogue or contact with FV to date. Therefore surely its time for FV to either put up (i.e. complete very soon) & start to run the football club correctly or admit...

Re: Administration and recovery
So are you saying that basically they are not really that interested in how successful or stable the football club is on the pitch ? In which case the administrators were not being completely truthful then with their statement following FV being preferred bidders ? "They were also able to show the v...

Re: Administration and recovery
I'm probably wide of the mark, but it is starting to appear that this FV consortium are only in this to try & make money in the future, from the hotel, land, car parks etc. It is starting to appear that they actually don't give a damn about the fans, players, staff, football side of the club. Its no...

Re: Administration and recovery
For the record, I don’t think it’s the best idea. But in some ways it’s not the worst. We really need to crack the f*ck in with player recruitment. And it’s worth noting I edited something today from a Bradford fan who would give his full set of teeth to turn back time and keep Parkinson. Doesn’t m...

Re: Administration and recovery
Is that the same Phil Parkinson that got BWFC promoted from League One at the first attempt Of course it is and you know full well Mr Enoch, you also know that he had a squad far better than everyone apart from Sheff Utd, and he still almost managed to cock that up, until the last game. However if ...

Re: Administration and recovery
https://twitter.com/reluctantnicko/status/1146489594801786880 Astonishing if true, it has to be some kind of a wind up ? Surely FV know that this will completely piss fans off from day one, we need a fresh start to give fans hope not more of last seasons shite, I think that crowds will seriously dw...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
I'm starting to think some people still live at home. The young chap has been with us since he was 8? Sees an opportunity with a much bigger Club than we're likely to be for the foreseeable and takes it... Why the fcuk would he not? If he's playing the 14 day time out, then he hasn't been paid the ...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.
How would you feel if you paid for someone from start to finishing an apprenticeship and went to another company? You’d be cheesed off, I surely would. I find that a sad position to take. You fxcking cxnt. I can't argue with your assertion. I've been telling folk that for years. Equally I fi...

Re: Administration and recovery
He's been developed through our youth academy & the club gave him a chance in the first team which helped him develop further & now he decides he wants to leave. Loyalty in football, non existent - let him rot in Celtic reserves, because I doubt that he will ever play a game for them. But I do like ...

Re: Administration and recovery
I'm sure that everyone involved behind the scenes including FV (if its them) is working as quickly as possible, they will all be aware of the required urgency with all that needs to be done in just over a month.
I think that we will get a formal announcement before the end of this week.
