Props to Derik for the little inside pass for Clough. Most would've took the easy way and went out wide. Was good to show strength in depth in this league

Also, Howard's distribution is the best I've seen from a Bolton keeper!

Shame
But where would he have played tonight? Cant see him defending from the front, which is integral to our game plan.

he would've "buryed" that Proctor chance!

I thought Proctor did well when he came on. nothing spectacular, but did the basics well.

Main thing that stood out tonight was Work rate! shadow of the team from last season! I said last season that getting relegated could be a blessing! clean slate! new manger, players, owners and league! the stars are aligning! Spine of the team was solid tonight.Bury never looked like scoring! Beevers ...

Rated very highly a few years back! Seem to remember him being a billy big bollocks, not necessarily a bad thing but one would hope he doesn't come just for the money!

It's good to see Howard doing well for us! Am I right in thinking that Thorpe and Ameobi are out of contract the end of the season? Providing all goes well, w should be able to pick them up on a free Or cheap compo depending on age!

Before he arrived, Bolton had won only 6 in their last 55.

When you take that into account it is a remarkable start to the season.

Anyone know what happened in Horwich? Lot of trouble by all accounts?

At least they're getting in the right positions! Parky will sort it!
