Get in! Training ground stuff that, great ball from Santos, on runner from JDC and a tap in, yet again from King Vic as he becomes the League One top scorer.

Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.

Fleetwood have gotta come after it now. Not sure there's any difference between Omochere's off the ball nudge on Santos and the foul from Kachunga around 7 mins. Mind you, given this ref, i'm not sure he's able to tell. That's right, I said Kachunga, it helps the ref identify who is who. Decent save...

Completely forgot, they've also got ex-wanderer Jay Lynch in net.

Bradley and Traf both at tonight's game. Lovely to see.
Yeah, a credit to both.

Re: Snog, Marry, Avoid: Summer 2023 Transfer Window

Morley is the one for me, though agree they both have a lot of potential. The problem Morley has is pace and mobility. I’m not convinced he can fix that. But we will see. Thomason also has those issues, he just tries really hard. We should be using Thomason's off season as a showcase for potential ...

Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.

I'd say if we're winning comfortably and in full control come the 70/75 min mark I'd be looking to sub both wingbacks and give them a breather. I'm sure that's come into Evatt's thinking. There's only so much they can play till things start tightening up. Last few games vs Fleetwood (latest at the ...

Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.

Thommo and Mags are in as I think Evatt will be expecting a more physical encounter tonight? Possibly. I'd imagine it's Evatt picking hardworking midfielders and not having a better backup option which means Dempsey has to do a double shift. Good lineup for tonights match. Rotation makes sense. Let...

Re: Snog, Marry, Avoid: Summer 2023 Transfer Window

Thomason signs a new contract to 2027. Presumably Evatt was hoping the pen would break…. https://x.com/officialbwfc/status/1691404473392828418?s=46&t=hHZd1wXFVO1bo4TppbHkNQ It does look like Evatt wanted him to stay, however it also looks like GT has basically said I'll stay if you give me a...

Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.

I'd be surprised if we see John or Sadlier before the close of the transfer window. It highlights that they're going to get playing time. If the plan is to improve the squad via departures and incoming players then it seems somewhat counterproductive to give them that playing time at the present mom...

Re: North by North West..Bolton v Fleetwood Tues 15th Aug 7-45.

Chances of Thomason starting tomorrow have to be high, you'd imagine. Depends on how far down the road we are with Bristol City. I suspect all parties wouldn't want a deal scuppered by a risk of injury unnecessarily. Evatt just confirmed that George turned down the move. Fair enough. I've also seen...

Tomorrows referee is the same one that mistook Kachunga for Charles. Wonder how well he takes a gentle ribbing from the players.

Re: Wanderers v Cheltenham (A) 12 August - Are we up for the Gold Cup?

Cracking result, and a very encouraging start to the season. Sounds like that man Vic was top notch today, which should hopefully silence a few of the doubters. Yeah lovely performance. Little greedy on one occasion which would've given him an extra assist but aside from that a very good performance.

Re: Wanderers v Cheltenham (A) 12 August - Are we up for the Gold Cup?

Decent performance. Impressive again how dominant we are. Compare that to last seasons performance and its a notable change. Yes, they've not got May or N'lundulu like last season, but Cheltenham have not even looked close to matching our performance level. Brilliant stuff lads. TBF, them having N"...

Re: Lionesses thread.

Lionesses come from behind to win 2-1 against a good Colombia side (with all the usual South American tricks of the trade, pretence, fouling, over-aggression etc, etc.) Colombia were good enough without the circus, and England did well to beat a very decent side. Good on you girls!!! :oyea: :oyea: Wa...

Re: Wanderers v Cheltenham (A) 12 August - Are we up for the Gold Cup?

Looks like Jerome's unlucky to still be on the bench. I suspect Charles is being given some extra time to get the hattrick.

I think at this point we're deserving of a fourth given the quality of chances we've put in.

I'd imagine at 3-0 up there's gonna be half an eye on Tuesday and our fitness levels for that one. Can't be long for subs now.

Not that I think anyone deserves subbing. They've all been decent.
