Great result. That win, especially coming from behind, is psychologically huge. Could be the result to galvanise the team after a rocky run of performances.

Personally I would like to see Gomes start. It’s must win, and he’s a match winner. Sheehan/Paris/Maghoma which feels like a ‘well score more than you’, but it might need to be at the moment.
That's some player if Maghoma is taking two positions?

Charlton might be lucky to keep 11 men on the pitch at this rate.
I don't mind if they finish with 9 men. The less the better.

Bod on, scorer off.
Well that's got to be a kick in the slats for Vic to get subbed at half time. Is he injured?

Unfortunately I will have to forego its plumpiness. Hopefully someone else can make better use of your plumpy offer! :D

I'm under orders to crack on with the decorating today so in between coats of gloss paint I'll be brewing up and checking in on our performance. It wants to be a good one. COYWM!

Re: Red cards and Red Kits, Bolton v Charlton - 17th Feb 2024 3pm

So what XI would you pick today folks? I'd go Coleman; Geth-Toal-Iredale; JDC-Demps-Sheehan-Maghoma-Ashworth; Collins-Vic – but I'd be looking to bring on Bod, Ramsay and Ogbeta somewhere shortly after the hour, and maybe CMG as an 8 not long after. Other subs - Jerome, Morley, Taylor. (I'm assumin...

Re: Red cards and Red Kits, Bolton v Charlton - 17th Feb 2024 3pm

I reckon it'll be an AC/VA combo up front on Sat. I don't think Evatt would try a Collins/Dad Bod pairing to start with.

Re: Wandering, Why come back home? Bolton v Wycombe - 13th Feb 2024 19:45pm

I don’t feel great about our recent performances, but my gut feeling is we will start to get better and better as key men come back and the new lads come up to speed. Right now we look very disjointed, as is to be expected given the amount of personnel changes we’ve been making from game to game. I...

Re: Wandering, Why come back home? Bolton v Wycombe - 13th Feb 2024 19:45pm

Was never going to be a gimme so that'll do nicely. The end was farcial, the clock was a minute over the six added when the pen was given. Took he shine off a good win against a tough side but job done. Took the old boys to show the new ones how it's done. So glad Bod got his goal, smart thinking. ...
