Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

Only just kicked off but I need a brew already. Not that I'm nervous about the footy but I've just installed a new hallway radiator and the associated plumbing myself. Never done it before. So here's to watertight rads and leaky Exeter defences :pissed:

Re: This Exe is on fire: Exeter (A) Sat 9 Mar, 3pm

Well here goes. As long as the Exeter medicine man doesn't incant any hexs on us we should be able to get three massive points here. Professional performance needed though, a thoroughly professional performance. COYWM!

Re: Raising the Bar: Barnsley (A), Tue 5 Mar 7.45pm

To say that that game and result could be pivotal is an understatement. If we had lost then I honestly believe automatic promotion would have been beyond us. But 8 mins of extra time and a rebound goal could now be the catalyst to galvanise the players and to give them the belief that they can actua...

Re: Cam on, fear the noise: Cambridge (H) Sat 2 Mar 3pm

We've had the long shots and we've had the across the box tap in jobs, but we rarely seem to shoot just on the edge of the box Mar chaired around the stadium, shoulder-high Hah, not often I call it, usually more likely to jynx it. Less reliable than sonic's brews thats for sure. Thanks. I think :oo...

Re: Cam on, fear the noise: Cambridge (H) Sat 2 Mar 3pm

Unfortunately no kettle or couch for me today as I'm in Kettering. The crappy conference centre espresso machine will have to suffice. We need a convincing win to re-ignite our promotion credentials.

Not confident of this one as we've got a shit record against these. Hoping for a battling draw but a scrappy win would be ace.

Matheson has finally got his loan move. He's off to Ireland until the end of June. Hope he does well.

Re: Contract expiry

I'm sure the club are aware, but there's a few players who'd be starting next season in the final year of their contract and who I'd really rather we didn't end up losing on a free. Perhaps more pertinently, I'd imagine the players themselves and their respective agents are also aware. I'd imagine ...

Re: Who opened the door? My money is on Janus! 2024 January transfer thread.

It would appear that someone forgot to close the window. We're apparently after Ravel Morrison who is a free agent after leaving DC United. Sheffield Weds and Peterborough are also interested according to the Gossip thread on the BBC site https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/gossip He might have had...
