Re: Riga Mortis - Charlton Athletic (H) 19/04/16

Well that's me done, wont be attending the last game as I wont be in the country. I have wasted an hour and half of my life to attend and suffer that shite, I came out the ground ten mins from time... I know, shit fan.

Re: Gates of heaven or gates of hell? 2016/17 attendances

Attendances next term wont be much difference from this season. Most have given up this term as a bad job and aired their frustrations earlier in the season. Most came to terms with relegation before Christmas and now look forward to the next one. All depends on the Season Ticket prices and the mood...

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?

No matter who is appointed there will be many who won't like it.

I can hear the moans now, "Allardyce" plus a ten year contract.?.

The club wont have money to throw at the next appointment so we'll just have to remain hopeful that he can get the club out the shite.

Ian Holloway is another who has experienced promotion with teams so why not.

Re: "Who's laughing now eh?" - Middlesbrough (H) 16/04/16

I'm sure this board will select a manager capable of delivering but also that appeals to most of our fans. I am as frustrated as the next Bolton fan and words written in the heat of the moment can upset a few .

Each time I see woollery he offers pace but no skill to back it up. Probably another player who promises much but delivers little.

Re: "Who's laughing now eh?" - Middlesbrough (H) 16/04/16

Only clough can be rated as a probable for the future. Maybe with better players around him he could become a decent player. The passing today was terrible, the times they gave the ball away was alarming. If some of these young players are not good enough now they never will be. Hopefully next term ...

Clueless once again in the last third. Better performance than usual against what I thought was a poor Boro side.

Re: Tired excuses..

Pratley and his fellow team mates should have been good enough to have remained in the Championship. It's nothing to do with so called talent, it's about organisation, coaching, motivation and leadership. From the top down we've had people who were bad at heir jobs. We've had squads in that time who...

I went to spurs a couple of times when in the Prem and each time we got thrashed. Never been a good hunting ground for Bolton.

Re: Next season - might as well get it started now.

Some of these youngsters we have produced, if they're not good enough now they never will be. Being nurtured along side Premier league players or even the decent Champ players is a massive bonus for them, unfortunately ours don't have that luxury. .

Re: Next season - might as well get it started now.

So difficult to predict which manager could sort out the mess were in. Phill Brown? who knows, it could turn out to be the right appointment or another mistake. By starting from scratch it will take a massive effort to assemble a squad capable of making a challenge for promotion. It can be done so w...

Re: Garry Jones

I always remember him for that superb Burnden evening when he bagged a hat trick against Man city.
His best game I saw him play was at Roker Park where he tore the Sunderland defence to bits, cant remember the score that day.
RIP Garry and thanks for the memories.

Although I cannot see anything other than a thrashing, this is one of those fixtures which could see the Wanderers win their first away game in over a year?

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?

Who ever is chosen has a very difficult task during the pre-season. I hope that once the season ends it wont be a long wait until the appointment.
