Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread

Must admit I haven't seen him play so will reserve judgement but he's from my neck of the woods (Leigh) so a good start :)

Re: Bolton Under 23's the Champs.

Went watching the U23's last night. They were good and certainly know how to keep the ball on the ground! I especially liked the lad Politic who scored a good goal, Jeff King did ok and Joe Pritchard. Connor Hall worked hard, but I don't think he's quite ready to stick straight in the 1st team . I ...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

Sorry..I voted yes. We know all our problems off the pitch, no money, transfer embargo etc etc BUT, we could at least try and be a compact unit, make it difficult for the opposition to get down our half of the pitch. We are just an absolute shambles in midfield and toothless up front, and it ends w...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

I voted yes originally. End of last season when we were promoted I wanted him gone, only for the reason I didn't think he was a Championshipship Manager, he was a decent league one...and my thoughts haven't changed. I want to see him sacked tonight

Re: I Wandered lonely as a cloud ..Whites v Wolves Sat 21st Apr. 3-0

Everybody was awful against Wolves BWFCi. Robinson was cringeworthy BUT I would still play him against Burton, and where the hell is Mark Little? because I would play him on the right behind Ameobi, Robinson on the left but maybe behind Noone and not Buckley? I'm not a big fan of Buckley but that's ...

Re: Will we be beating the Blues, or singing the blues? BWFC v Birmingham 3/4/18 8pm

What a horrible, horrible game that was. Parkinson really should blame himself though as his tactics were poor. Nobody was within 30 yards of ALF, and we are lumping balls to him. Play ball to FEET, we might get somewhere!!! Theres going to be a lot of complaints about the ref and rightly so, we sho...

Re: Will a chilla on the Hilla versus Villa be a thrilla...? Home V Aston Villa, Sat 17th Mar. 5-30.

:oyea: I was so proud of my team yesterday..and that's what it was, at TEAM. They worked their socks off, and for each other as well. That is the best I have seen them play last night, and the cold, the snow flying everywhere, the vision getting poorer as the game went on, it was so worth it, seeing...

I really didn't think we were going to get anything from that game yesterday but the players dug in and worked so hard. When everybody booed when Wilbraham came on I was going mad at everybody round me!! I don't think hes very good, but I wouldnt boo him, and at the end when he scored he came straig...

Re: Skidding up to 18th, or will our Championship drift north, end? BWFC v Preston 3/3/18 3pm

Are you any good AT? :) Seriously, although it sounds as though I am calling a player who probably hasnt got much confidence, but Wilbraham should consider retiring, and consider it before he starts the next match. Tango, I think Little was suspended and Alf didnt play at the start, it was Walker, w...

Re: Skidding up to 18th, or will our Championship drift north, end? BWFC v Preston 3/3/18 3pm

Parkinson gets a lot of credit for me. He has a lot to contend with and has done well to get us up to 19th with the bad start we had. But he sure got his tactics wrong today. Why on earth did he put Dervite at right back in the 2nd half? He got done for pace all the time..and bringing Wilbraham on i...
