Re: Bijou Bob's Bargain Basement Buys - Jan transfer thread

no we dont, theres 63 points to be had.

we'll do it if he swaps lee for a forward.

lee's going almost stubbsian in his efforts to do one.

hopefully he's out for months and it forces mr. lennon to sort it.

yeah - agree absolutely! I just think it puts the chungy thing in context - do we gamble with (pretty speculative) £1.5million in NOT selling him this january on the hope that he will help us into the playoffs... on this form - even with chungy - the playoffs are a long way off... he got injured or...

Re: Shooting in Paris at satirical mag

they've caught them now.

they never ever go down shooting, it's easy shouting "martyr this , praise that" when shooting folk in the back.

when 15 people with bullet proof vests and a rifle each point them red lasers at them, their collective arses seem to go.

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Watched interstellar the other day, are they taking the piss, so bad, so, so bad. It's overtly sexist, riddled with glaring, horrific logical / scientific errors. It's filled with cut and paste plot devices. It's so excruciatingly cliché it's embarrassing. Humans from the future that can almost sav...

It takes a big man to resist the temptation to say "I told you so !" So I've written it down instead. hark at mystic meg . http:...

i'd take a defeat for this, for the greater good. greater good being that we dont have to feck about with cup games getting in the way of pratley's goal streak promotion. but also wigan will have an extra game to extend the ballz up of their attempt to avoid relegation. plus it'll keep malky in the ...
