Lee Anderson on twitter replying to the question "has a bid been accepted":

"At 19:13 no".

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017

Is £2.5m really the accepted bid for Clough? I thought they'd already turned down £2m and £3.5m???

EDIT: Sorry, just seen £2.5m is the figure Iles has just posted on the blog. £3.5m was the figure reported by Sky

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017

Tweet from KA's fluffy bit of daughter in law at 5.15pm.

Sounds like we've got ALF or Ameobi, Shirley?

Second bid turned down for Clough. Reckon they'll come back with a third for £5m and it'll be accepted (but again, whether Clough agrees to go is a different story)

Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017

Townsend to NUFC is as good as done too... quite exciting actually. if we could land both ALF & Ameobi plus keep Clough & Vela then i might have a shandy... X2. And if we could offload Trotter, then that's two shandies. I'm split on Clough going. Heart says no, but head says yes... If the bid was £...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Coventry is the real reference point in terms of what disasters can happen once you sell your stadium. Essentially expensive tenancy with loss of income from stadium related activities, declining business means selling off more assets and lower and lower budget to spend on the football side. A deat...

Re: Parky's Men v Mrs Brown's Boys - Southend Utd (A) 21/01/

Going to be an interesting one on Tuesday between Sheff Utd and Fleetwood, who're unbeaten since mid-November and have crept up to 4th. If Utd drop points in that one that's no win in three, and after a home match against Wimbledon they're away to P'boro (8th) and Bristol Rovers (10th) before hostin...

Was hoping I'd be able to catch a bit of national coverage tonight, but BBC 1 and Radio 5 are both covering the Lincoln v Ipswich game, and Sports Extra's at Wimbledon v Sutton. :whack:

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

We have reached the point of selling our arse (space) - BWFC's first-ever back-of-shirt sponsors announced ... And all to fund Trotter's wages for all of a fortnight or something probably. :( But in these times - and actually whether or not we're going to be permanently brassic forever more - I act...

Anybody who's at the game: What sort of a reception did big Sam and Chungy get when they appeared ? Was sitting in the East Stand so didn't pick up any bants/reaction (if there was any) to Sam coming out, but Chungy got a warm round of applause when the team lines were read out, and again when he c...

Re: What is left of Burnden?

I went to the auction with my Dad (which must've been about 20 years ago now, ffs). We came away with two sets of three plastic turquoise seats - I think they were from the dugout area (which would explain why they were in sections of three) but same colour as the Lever End seats. Can't remember if ...

Not a mouth waterer at first glance, but more of a spectacle being underdogs to a Prem team than a Championship team, and also better than some dodgy away tie against a League 1 or 2 team.

3-1 us, with Pardew being sacked.

'Ave it.

This has been the first thing I've seen put a number on the office sale, which is £4m: http://www.footballeconomy.com/content/bolton-face-administration" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Guessing the bulk of that went on last month's wages and maybe a bit of interest on the interest. Bolton 5/4 to win. Is it really that bad? (Don't answer that).

We come from a goal down to snatch a winner ten minutes from time. Trotter is the saviour

Re: The Debt.

The Sun article says this: The Trotters supremo is only asking for a quid to walk away — and is writing off debts of £189m to do so This is wrong, isn't it? I thought Davies wanted £20m or so? Would be a very different story not having to stump up that initial outlay - technically, new buyers wouldn...
