Re: BWSA last night
Nice summary. Thanks. Sorry that I can't attend these meetings myself but due to family reasons, I am pushing it just going to the home games! Did Warnock say why he had to go back to Villa?

If Mido scores a hat-trick then N'gog will score 10 in that crazy parallel dimension!

Re: Re-Shaping The Team
He did and I don't thank him for it. But I do feel sorry for him as he was a nice chap who thought as much of the club as we do. He just couldn't cut it managerially and couldn't see what was wrong. Terrible failings for a football manager I know, but the desire was in him.

Re: Re-Shaping The Team
As we heard from our Palace friends about Dougie, he is very fitness motivated unlike the nice man who bit off more than he could chew. Could re-shaping not also mean getting them into shape physically aswell as organisationally?

Re: Worthy's better class of transfer thread
I think the fact that he is only on loan for a month is due to the fact that Chungy could do with some backup until he is back to full fitness. A couple of other posters touched on that last night (sorry, can't remember your tags but I am new and it takes ages to search on my phone! It may be a good...

Re: The Tykes Thread
I am going for 2-1 to the whites. Nervy start and then nicking one, going in 1-0 up at half time before scoring another one. Then defending for about half an hour chewing my fingernails down to the elbow as they nick one back and lay siege to our goal!
Don't fail me crystal ball!! We need 3 points!

Re: Match day bus
It is a good service, don't get me wrong. But it goes up to 3 quid return on Saturday as Tyrers are taking over from First. I just think that it is a bit steep for kids.officer_dibble wrote:3 bobx standard bus fare innit

Re: The Tykes Thread
I too think that N'gog is underrated and I like the four attacking mids you suggest but my opinion is that Petrov and Eagles both do their best work from the left. That leaves us with a dilemma on the right until Chungy gets back to better form. Hopefully it won't be far off because there have been ...

CYL will only get those by playing[/quote]
I agree but with the way that Dougie sets the team up we need our attacking 3 midfielders to be on their game. And we need points asap to rescue the season!

Afobe scored for eng U21 vs Norn Iron on tuesday night... a 76th minute penalty... I still think we should send him back to Arsenal though. Especially as we seem to keep picking him on the left wing. Everybody keeps talking about Sordell but I wonder what Gregg Wylde must be thinking! Greg who?Appa...

3 pound return or 2 pound single from everywhere. Even for my young son who gets on all GMPTE buses for free. Increase comes into effect for Barnsley game.

My hope is that ED wants to leave a lasting legacy for the club and town. In many years to come, I would like to tell my grandchildren that the magnificent buildings and successful club were a present from Uncle Eddie! He's your uncle ?? Well ask him, ffs !! I wish!!! Isn't he everyone's uncle Eddi...

I am a first time poster but have been reading posts on this site for a few months and find it, on the whole to be an informative hub of reasoned debate! I was just wondering what the concensus was on the pending increase in fares for the matchday bus. My thoughts are that it is still very good valu...
