Re: Blackpool
Leaking goals every game might just have as much to do with that as our strikers. Even hinting KD is responsible for that is way off the mark. If he gets picked it's because the manager thinks he should. When he doesn't, he won't. That simple. We certainly can't win each game 3-2 but even in closer...

Re: Next 8 games
A lot may hinge on tomorrow; if we lose or draw you're wanting 5 wins out of the next 7 games which seems a big ask for Bolton at the moment and even that may not be quite good enough. It'd be interesting to see where 36 points would leave us; 'Boro already have 32 so my guess is we'll still be mile...

Re: Blackpool
Sordell will be sold in jan is my guess. We need a jason roberts tyoe championship goalscorer imo. I said this before the season started; in this division, if you want promotion, you tend to need someone who knows the division and who scores a lot of goals. Simon Cox or Billy Sharp may have been de...

That kind of return won't see us promoted.Bijou Bob wrote:Before the Cardiff match, I was looking for 5 points from the following 3 games, so I'd be happy with a point come 5pm Saturday.
Gotta settle for no less than three points on Saturday. It's attainable.

We're developing another team's striker as opposed to our own.

Re: Leicester City
What if we get no points? What if we get 3? Apparently if we get three, things will look much rosier in the garden; so I'm wondering what the garden will look like if we get none? It's easy to say that things will look pleasant if we get three points in the next game but I've been saying that all s...

Re: Leicester City
The fact Kevin Davies is still on the pitch shows that Dougie doesn't trust Sordell.... KD playing well and not tiring so why take him off? because he isn't scoring goals.... Why people continue to make him out to be god is beyond me... he is a striker... strikers have to score goals... he hasn't s...

Re: Leicester City
I don't get why Spearing is out of the team all of a sudden, we seem to be missing his exact passing and tenacity; tonight we sound anything but solid or lively. We're missing pace up front and a grip in midfield. I'm still to be convinced that Pratley is anything but useless.

Re: Leicester City
Nigel Pearson is a good manager, gets his team very organized and they've got a very lively attack along with a solid defense so this isn't going to be an easy game. But it's still another game that we have to look at and say that we've got the team to win it, especially at home. It is a shame that ...

Re: Boro
The lack of a natural goalscorer up front is going to cost us this season. Coyle put faith in a largely untried Arsenal youngster, ignoring the likes of Cox and Sharp, experienced forwards at this level who would get us goals and it was a poor decision. We can't win every game 3-2, we simply don't h...

Re: Is it time yet?
The fact is that things are not improving. Each week we say, 'we're still on a handful of points off the top' and we cannot keep saying this. There are no signs of improvement, nor have there been for a very long time. We win one game, build optimism, and then drably lose the following. Things aren'...

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
I thought Ngog played well on Saturday but deary me, he needs to start finding the back of the net because his wastefulness, if it continues, is gonna cost us points.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday Away
A very good win, though not one without a few criticisms. Ngog's dreadful finishing almost cost us the points whilst Alonso's clearances at times were wretched. Mark Davies scored a beauty though; at half-time, a classy Mario Gotze goal for Germany was shown on TV and it went through my mind that Da...
