Hey up

Post by Arnie » Fri Apr 13, 2007 12:03 pm

New poster. Sometimes have a read. Prepared something for my first post already - had to give a presentation yesterday on my beloved Bolton.
Went to school in Bolton, and visited Burnden as a wee one. Finished ma school in the midlands, but studied in Sheffield and caught a good few games.
Lived down south and abroad for maybe 15 years now, but still make it back for a few games a year. This year I stopped going to away games after Charlton and Reading.

First game: Bolton 0 - 2 Grimsby. Rain was the clear winner.
Worst game: Sheff Wed 5 - 0 Bolton (all goals scored in first 45 in front of us).
Best game: Bolton 1 - 0 West Ham, tied with Bolton 3 - Preston 0 in Cardiff.
Watched the other play off final on tv in Sheffield. Now know one of the Reading squad who didn't get a game that day. He hates me.

Favourite players? DeFreitas (ha ha), Gudjohnsen, Gunnlaugsen (sp?), Johansen, Frandsen, McGinley, Youri, JayJay (for that WH goal, best I ever saw), Nolan (for them two at OT), Bruno.

Alright Arnie, nice first post.

To whom did you have to present on the subject of Bolton?
