And I'm still trying to imagine Warthog living at a place called Limpley Stoke. He tends to stoke the KUMB fires, but not generally limply. Perhaps it is some reference to erectile dysfunction.

Is it a common thing for students to buy things with cheques?! Can't say I've ever done it!

no, students still do the cheque thing, because they can write them even though there's no available funds in their accounts

aye, and thank gawd for that

I tried living without an overdraft last semester, and was so poor I actually lived off crackers and water for a week, before i phoned my dad and begged for sixty quid for food. But then again, maybe i just can't budget. I have seen the light this year though :D

Seriously, what do some of you spend your money on?! I take out a loan, which covers my rent and tuition fees, and I have a bit left over from that. Also working pays for my nights out and things. I don't see the need for overdrafts!

Not before I play soccer tomorrow and play some great offense to force a tie, then go to the mall and buy some candy.

But in reply to your question...

Nope, Farnworth mate...believe it or not they're called semesters over here, too! Aye.

Politics with Economics...politics can be quite interesting, though economics is actually a joke.

Where/what are you studying mate?
Good stuff - they're two subjects I've always been interested in too. From what I have heard, I'm guessing that you are saying that about first year uni economics because it's actually easier than A2?! (Which I did, incidentally...)

I'm studying law at Cambridge at the moment and I'm off to Utrecht next year for an exchange year.
Never studied Economics before, even gave Maths up at GCSE. I have a three hour exam on it in two weeks and i am bricking it! Glad i didnt do it at A2 now.

Oh, and enjoy Utrecht :d I have a mate whos at Durham doing Law, and he's on placement in Hanover at the minute. Loving it, he is.

he's saying (or was saying) 'Yer Doyle!'

It's from some thing on the Internet, where some guys from the Boro have dubbed it. Type in tintin 15, f*cking hilarious!
