Ah right. I've been working in Gothenburg this week, my abiding memory of it being that it's fecking freezing.thegaiser wrote:thank you
I`m from sweden, just a bit west from Stockholm. I watched a Bolton game on TV eight years ago and I`m a Bolton fan sinse that day.
Looking forward to meet the little blond girl someday!

Ahh, Gothenburg, my place of birth! Lived there most of my life, I`m hoping to move back soon. Hope that you get to work there in the summertime. It´s a lot warmer and the beer is great!

Yeah I look forward to going back in a few months. You're right about the beer, and the food was excellent also. On Tuesday I had the fish which the waiter told me was called 'Sej'. I've never heard of it before, it was similar to cod but in my opinion the sej was tastier. I doubt that I'll be able to buy it down at Bolton fish market but I'll keep an eye out for it. Also, I watched the Lille v Man U game and I noticed that you have an English TV pundit that speaks Swedish with a heavy English accent. Who is he?.thegaiser wrote: Ahh, Gothenburg, my place of birth! Lived there most of my life, I`m hoping to move back soon. Hope that you get to work there in the summertime. Don't know who that might be. Usually it's Glenn Hysén (former Liverpool player) but he speaks with HEAVY gothenburg accent. The only english TV pundit i know about in sweden is Billy Lansdowne but i don´t think it was him.

Sitting here right now watching the Wigan - Newcastle game, and the TV pundit with the heavy accent must be Stuart Baxter. He's from Birmingham. Also used to coach Soothafrican nationalteam.
