Hello.
I'm new here. My name's Matt, but you can call me Puskas. Or is it the other way round?
Anyway, I'm a miserable sod.

Cheers....

Ah. I was brought here by a currently registered user. I think he may be called Derek Scott's Hairdo. Or possibly Ray Deakin's Coiffure. Something like that, anyway...
First game was Southampton at home, in the 79-80 season. I can't remember the exact date, but Alan Gowling scored both our goals in a 2-0 win. In the second half, too, after my dad told me we'd be in trouble because we were playing into the wind.
Best game. Hmmm. Probably the 2-0 FA Cup win at Anfield. Although the 2-1 win in Stretford a couple of years back is a close contender.
Favourite urinal at Burnden? One of the one's in the Manny Road stand (I was walking there once at half time, and stepped aside at the top of the stairs to let an injured Mixu Paatelainen past. He said "Please - after you". I was most honoured...)
Best players? Taddy Nowak, John McGinlay (for the obvious reasons), Andy Walker (because, contraversially, I always thought he was better than Supa John, despite not having the same legendary status), Youri Djorkaeff (in my opinion the finest player I've ever seen in a Wanderers shirt, Taddy Nowak notwithstanding).
There you go. Loads of information.

That'd be 24th March 1979, Puskas ('78/9 season, obviously).

Gah! Yes - 78-79 season. The one before we went down...
Sorry. Faulty memory. Time of the night. And so on.
Thanks.

One footed? How many better left-footed players can you mention? Barry Cowdrill, Paul Comstive and (the real) Robbie Savage don't count.....
