New fan and new to the site

Post by msneild » Tue Apr 26, 2011 8:43 pm

Hey guys, I recently started following your team because of several reasons. I was attracted to it by Stuart Holden(I'm from the U.S.) and became a bigger fan because of you fans! Great support from a club that isn't a "top" team, but still have great heart and support.
If you guys could kind of tell me of the history this club has, that would be great. I tried reading the Wikipedia entry, but I feel a fan's opinion is much better.
By the way, I support the Seattle Sounders as my primary team here in america. They aren't the best here, but are well supported, with an average of 36,000 fans coming to each home game

Hi and welcome msn. Bolton Wanderers history is far too long and complex to answer in a post. Have a look here.

Welcome aboard. Seattle is pretty far from New Jersey (Bolton is almost as close!).

I try to keep up to date with MLS results, there's something about the league and its teams that interests me. I also like how they've tried to incorporate some "local derbies" into the fixtures too - looking forward to your first clash with Portland Timbers?!
