Hey fellow whites, been reading this site for a good while and decided to dip my toes in.

Bit about myself, I've been watching bwfc with my dad since about 1986, the only difference is I drive him to the game now. First match was a 1-0 home defeat to newport (think our old mate aldo got the goal!). Part of me still misses burnden.

Favourite player pre-reebok was andy walker. I used to love it when he celebrated scoring in front of the empty embankment (scottish humour!) A quality finisher who without the injuries IMO would be right up there with Nat and Superjohn in the pantheon of bolton legends.

Since becoming a permanent fixture in the top flight (pinches himself) the player i enjoyed watching the most was Djorkaeff. I still remember the day he signed for us, thought they had announced the wrong team on the radio. He was some player in his pomp, and even though we got him in the twilight of his career, seeing him in a white shirt made me realise how far we had come as a club.

Anyways enough of my ramblings down memory lane, keep the faith and up the whites.

Not really BR, up towards the millstone pub, but moving to widnes soon to move in with the girlfriend. Ho Hum! I've told mates if they detect any hint of a scouse accent developing, they have my permission to slap me

Welcome to the site, John. Always good when a lurker 'converts'....as it were.

How long have you been reading the TW boards? Have you ever ventured to the main page to view the articles?

Would be good to hear your views / constructive criticism.......

Either way, just get involved and don't be a stranger. You've probably read it all before, so don;t let me bore you further.....
