Ah - sorted. It takes you into post number 1 of the thread, then there's a tab over on the far right saying 'First Unread Post' or somesuch.

Gosh - this is a bit of a shock but I'm sure it will prove an improvement

Looks great Keveh. Thanks for putting all this time in for us.keveh wrote:Also, anything you want to change/improve please feel free to suggest it.
This is a bit of working progress at the moment, so tweaks can be made.
Liking the font colour thingy.

Atm it takes me to the last post not the last unread one. Further investigation required.Bruce Rioja wrote:Ah - sorted. It takes you into post number 1 of the thread, then there's a tab over on the far right saying 'First Unread Post' or somesuch.

This might be 2 different things. As Bruce says if you click on the thread title itself it will bring up the first post. At the top right there is a selection for "first unread post" which will take you there.Montreal Wanderer wrote:Atm it takes me to the last post not the last unread one. However, if you click on the symbol next to the name of the user who last posted on that thread that will take you to the last post of the thread (not the first unread).
Clear as mud
I did like the small red icon on the old version by the thread title which took you to the first unread. Is it easy to put this back Keveh?

Nice.
However, please may I suggest an unwritten rule?
That people are not allowed to turn their posts into bags of Skittles?
Black text, unless highlighting, quoting, or emphasising a point.
Don't want to be some sort of fuddy-duddy, or the Fun Police. Just want to keep the very refined, work-and-eye-friendly look of the board as such. There's nothing worse than a board that's a succession of different fonts, colours and text sizes.

Thanks - got it now - you have to go via the first post as you say.Wandering Willy wrote:This might be 2 different things. Regarding this foe business:
That certainly takes away some of the fun...Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

Re: Downtime on Monday
Yeah I'm considering reducing them just a bit, it's just I had a few people saying the previous one was a little too small and hard to read (not just the oldies!).
Re: Downtime on Monday
I cant see the "view new posts" button that was at the top righthand corner, has it been moved or has the new software not got one?
