Sven to leave Man City?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Sven to leave Man City?

Post by jmjhb » Mon Apr 28, 2008 10:27 pm

Just heard this on SSN that he's leaving following a meeting, there's nothing concrete yet however...

only official source on that link says he's in charge tomorrow

anyway if he gets sacked it's ridiculous, but wouldn't suprise me with that mentalist in charge, he'd probably appoint himself

From the Press Association:
Sven-Goran Eriksson will not quit Manchester City despite fresh speculation about his future, his agent insisted tonight.

Eriksson had a cordial if uneasy meeting with City owner Thaksin Shinawatra yesterday but it is business as usual for the Swede, who will be taking training tomorrow after representing the club at a Football Foundation function in London.

Eriksson himself blasted his players for being lazy against Fulham at the weekend. However, rumours about his position as City manager refuse to go away.
Only a matter of time then, it seems...

Coming from a five fingered mutant that's a bit rich

Anyway it does look like were reclaiming our rightful place at the top of the Laughing stock league, yourselves & Newcastle have had a little go this season but no one can touch the true champions

BBC report that he has been sacked with effect from the end of the season.

THIS is precisely why just having some rich bloke ploughing money in, does NOT mean you will be successful.

I'd prefer Gartside and Davies over this sort of shambles any day!

I have blue eyes (its a recessive allele so possibly not a mutation but how it occured in the first place in our evolution probably lends itself to some form of mutation), so using that assumption, then yes I'm a mutant, but as you say I'm not too deformed that I have the required number of digits!

Do you know what a cusion is then TSIB??

Is it some citeh-ism? I'll keep an eye out for one next time I watch shameless

It's from the Latin phrase Cuss iomo meaning "sleeping with one's sister".

I find this all a bit ridiculous to be honest, they've had their best season for ages, why sack him after one season?

Because City are MASSIVE

We'll see I'm sure if Shinawatra is offering enough blood money someone will go if - if only for the money they'll get paid off in there contract when they're sacked!

Noel Gallagher just been on radio 5. Says the only way this can be justified is if Mourinho is next in.

If thats true, I'd have to agree. Otherwise, utter madness.
