I'd prefer Megson, but its a start.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

He's not going to United, Citeh or Blackburn anytime soon, so yeah.

Really don't care who manages Burnley. We've no real rivalry with them. Unpleasant bunch in pretty much every imaginable way, but not really interesting at all.
And even less interest about where Megson goes - though his regime, grim as it was, was, on balance, positive in effect... a number of good players signed and still with us, relegation avoided, and infinitely better than the terrifying fish-out-of-water sheer incompetence of S. Lee. I do realise this is setting the bar ludicrously low and. by the end, I was as desperate as anyone else to see him go. But can't join in the gloating on his unemployment. He did a necessary job for us, and, thankfully, so did Gartside in December 2009...
Have residual fondness for Phil Brown but don't want him managing Bolton. Though ISTR several did three or four years ago...

Would rather Big Sam go to an established PL club that won't go down. To bring up a small club and get them established is just more competition that I don't want. Assuming he is successful again.
Phil Brown not so concerned about.

Is a good move and he has nothing to lose, the position they are in they are expected to be relegated.
If he somehow keeps them up then he is a hero.

18 month contact is in the best interests of all concerned, I think. Perfect in fact.
May the bridges I burn light your way
