Yes folks, in 8 days time we get to whip cardiff. No doubt the team are on a high and deservedly so. Now i challenge any team in the chump to show me a better midfield than ours at the moment. I don't think it will really matter too much if we don't get another striker of note in because with the supply that our boys up the front will get it will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

i'm sure this will end up benefiting west ham in some way... £2mill rent a year is (in their current predicament) a bit more palatable than shelling out £100mill plus up front, surely? I guess it depends on the length of the lease...

let's hope it sets up the possibility that they bulldoze the Boleyn - move into the olympic venue - then after a few years the lease is not renewed because the developers get a better offer - and west ham are homeless and have to ground-share with Charlton Athletic...
