Beckham's last game for Real, will he finally win a trophy?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Beckham's last game for Real, will he finally win a trophy?

Looks a fantastic atmosphere there tonight, some celebrities like Tom Cruise and Nadal in the crowd. I think its a certainty that Madrid will win this, but I would love to see Barca win the league.

Oh Mallorca score hehe.

They are struggling up to now, but still fancy Madrid to turn this around. On the live betting they are 8/11 to win this match, looks a good bet.

Must be pretty exciting times for Beckham, last match in Spain, got his buddy Tom Cruise over for the party, set to move to LA. Lucky sod.

Just listening to the commentary, Ronaldo who left in January to Milan is set to pick up a bonus of £175,000 tonight if Madrid win the league. Jesus Christ, these guys are so lucky.

I have my finger over the send button of a £20 bet on Madrid to win this. Odds are still 8/11. Do you think its a good bet?

Barca 3-0, amazing free kick by ronnie.

Madrid are now 5/6, more winnings all the time.

I took the bet at odds of 10/11. Its only £20, but £18.18 profit if they turn this round, pays for a bottle of champagne tomorrow.

1-1 Reyes

Reyes came on for Beckham. That is the last we will see of Beckham in European club football.

Did you see Nadal in the crowd he looked like a big kid throwing a paddy wanting one more goal.

What the supercup? The Spanish version of the charity shield? Does that count? Its like a pre season friendly.

I for one am glad for Beckham. He always gets unwarranted amounts of stick. Though the football is below European level I am glad he is bound for the states.
