Citeh Crisis: Sven Gormless wants 10 new players.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Citeh Crisis: Sven Gormless wants 10 new players.

Post by mullayo » Thu Jul 05, 2007 3:03 am

After one training Citeh's saviour has decided he needs 10 new players. Wonder which one he did like? Probably Micah Richards...

Any of their players we'd take?

Not a single one worth having.

I think they must have one of the smallest squads in the Prem. They must be down to 16 senior players now that Weaver's gone.

10 players sounds about right to get the squad near to where it should be.

So the six he's keeping are???

Richards, Onohua, Dunne AND...

Barton's gone and so are all the strikers by the sounds of the ariticle?

How about we buy Samaras?

I'd take Onohua off him, he's fast young, strong, agressive

A striker who doesn't score? We have Davies for that role. I wouldn't even take Dunn, the QE2 turns quicker than him. Richards would be the only possible, and maybe Mpenza?

Mpenza? I thought we already have Davies......

Right now i'd take Dunne over all of our centre-backs apart from Meite, he's a class act but won't leave City.

I'm a bit blinkered by the game at Eastlands season before last when he was rattling the woodwork from everywhere, and generally giving our back line a very hard time. Dunne in the same game was a carthorse.

Like I say, I wouldn't pay anything for any of that squad.

Wouldnt have been Mpenza, he joined on loan at the back end of last season didn't he?

Fat or not, he's one hell of a center half.

Been citys best players for past 2 seasons.

Richards and Onuoha are the only other two players worth having a punt at.

Young Kasper Schmeichel and Daniel Sturrige maybe for the future too.

So it aint all doom and gloom for Citeh.

They'll just become another Newcastle - big fan base, bankrolled to hell yet nobody is never happy.

Me thinks that you've confused him with Kiki Musampa, Fatshaft.

Svennis' appointment to the hot seat of doom confirmed.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 241052.stm

And here's a Swedish journalist's view that's bound to delight all City fans:

"I think Swedes hoped he would pick a bigger team for probably the last club of his career." :lmfao:
