Remark about Doris Savage

Post by bobo the clown » Wed Jul 11, 2007 1:38 pm

Read today on a web site ....
Blackburn and Wales midfielder Robbie Savage, owner of ‘the face most in need of a slapping award’ for a record seven successive years, has hinted that one day he would like to play for and indeed maybe even manage his hometown club Wrexham (BBC Sport).

The question is, is the man who is to football what Evander Holyfield is to cricket good enough to play for Wrexham? The answer to that is a resounding "NAY!"
I like it. I expect by then he'll have worked out whether Blackburn, Birmingham or Wrexham is nearer to Wrexham. My money's on Wrexham ... but on his previous logic who knows.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
