Anyone watching the Arsenal game?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

2 mins in, one red card and one snapped leg!

Knocks the ball past Taylor who goes straight in on his shin. Missed it as I was watching Soccer Saturday, and SKY are refusing to show a replay of the tackle, they're showing one at half time that has the actual tackle hidden by another player's body. Seemed to be bad timing rather than malicious.

What's eduardo done to you?

Not seen it, but they mentioned it on FF (ironically after a report on Jimmy Bullard coming back from injury). Hope it isn't as bad as it sounded.

Good un theo :D

aye got this from BBC Text Commentary:

1256: Eduardo is given oxygen as he is stretchered from the pitch after eight minutes of treatment. Nicklas Bendtner replaces him. We have not been allowed to see a replay of the incident - which probably tells you how horrific it was

eek.

The height of Taylor's foot going in for that makes me wonder how "unfortunate" that is? Anything can happen in the heat of the moment but that's a real horror-tackle. That's a carreer ender you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

Arsenal are on the wobble, starting to drop out of the cups, psychologically damaged by last weekend's Cup mauling, and now they're down to one established striker (not that I'd turn Bendtner away if he wanted to wear the white). Meanwhile yon buggers by the Salford docks are looking worryingly good.

Is this a real photo? Because if it is that really doesn't look good for the poor lad.
